Well hopefully Ken will be able to drive his 6 to Jap fest as im going down to start the engine swap on Monday the 17th. It should only take 2-3 days for it to be back on the road.
Im trecking down from chester to Poole (about 4 and half hours thats club dedication for you) to swap it out. Ken has made a start on the wiring and perhaps he now apreciates how much work is involved. I know ive now done it 6 times and im fast but its a rather big task. I am looking forward to it though especially since i only did my own about 3 weeks ago and its still fresh in the mind.
Ive still got two jobs to do to my 6 before the weekend so excuse me if i dont polish mine before jap fest especially with the engine change. Ive got to weld up the exhaust and helicoil the block for the drive shaft carrier as its rather dodgy at the min.
Well im sure ken will keep you all upto date with whats happening engine wise but if anyone is going to jap fest sat morning (early) going down the m6 (possibly) then the m5 and wants to meet up let me know.

glad you are helping ken out kyle, i suggested he chat to you about it when i spoke to him on the phone. any chance of that a/c compressor and the bit for andy's car?
Sorry Ken i cant justify putting the trailor on the back of the 6 to come that far. So im going to have to come down in the vitesse. Although the bonus to that is ive installed a jammer so i will be tanking it on the way down.
Im going out to weld up the exhaust on my 6 now.
Mike ac compressor will be at jap fest.

Full details to follow, but it looks like we're starting on Monday 17th. Feel free to pop along and say hi, pass spanners, mop up blood, make coffee etc...
As long as Kyle and I don't get turned into a couple of circus performers
