Whoa people!!
Ok, here is what we refer to as hi flowing the standard turbo:
"The compressor wheel is now 42mm in diameter. The standard compressor wheel for a TX5 or MX6/626 2.2L engine is 29mm! "
Hope that clears a few things up...

Also, here are some examples of power increases as dyno'd by a local OZ member who developed our local chip, similar to zombies chip:
How much power and torque does this (chip) upgrade give me over stock

Depending on which level your car is at to start with.
Stock + 15psi =>130kW and 340Nm
Exhaust, hi-flow +15psi => 180kW and 440Nm

It is specifically to suit:
2.5"-3" exhaust,
180-240cfm turbo (stock, hiflow and some improvements on T28 )
15psi. (lower psi on T28 )

"Lack of pu ssy makes you brave man!!"
"Cocaine is a hell of a drug!!"
"What the fu*k is GOONY GU GU??"
"Mm mm mmm, that IS a tasty burger !! "

BS. That is completely incorrect. The diameter of the vj11 compressor is 52.50mm and the outer fin is 36mm:

http://www.mx6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124920 (IHI RHB5 VJ11/ IHI RHB5 VJ5 Comparison..Just for you Kirk!)

Also the vj11 is capable of over 300 cfm but is far beyond it's limit at that point:

http://www.mx6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107278 (Exhaust Flow Calculator)

Again, proving how "high flowing" isn't giving you guys anything you think it is. Christ, you don't even know the dimensions of the compressor wheel in the first place

I got these compressor sizings off this site (not the oz section) a while ago and we all know the internet is always true...but the power increases with the chip, hi flow etc have been documented and proven many a time.

Ok 666, seeing as u measure everything yourself, what is the largest diameter comp. wheel that can be installed in the stock housing??? That is essentially what we refer to as being a hi flow, figures posted may be wrong, but im sure u get the concept! Do u agree the power increases quoted are attainable??
Out of interest, how much bigger are the T birds u guys use???
I find im not as grumpy when i get laid...

Oh, and i think the quikest time on a "hi flow", with basic supporting mods down here is a 13.5.

I don't know, you tell me, you're the ones "high flowing" the stock turbo.

I understand the concept perfectly. I was asking for numbers which none of you have. You guys only know the term "high flowed" and leave it at that.

Show me a link where someone has dynoed 240HP or 180kW with a "high flowed" turbo.

39mm and 52.50mm. The overall diameter is the same as stock, otherwise you'd have to modify/use another center section.

You think or you know? Link? Trim of the turbine and compressor wheel?

Panther, Why lock a thread and then post a link of yet another thread where this [cork soaker] is carrying on with "how dumb us Australians are". Are you impartially moderating this site or not?
Do you want me to start posting about "all you dumb Americans" and see how long I last before you let Damian [cork soaker] have the last post and then close it like normal?

Serioiusly, do you think your actions aren't crystal clear transparant?

Last time I checked posting rules, you weren't allowed to bring up closed threads. [cork soaker] has done this on multiple occassions now. Each time about him not being able to accept different countries use different terms. I don't know how many times we have to shout,"it's a genric term, there are NO specifations". Like "lowered" means different heights for different people. "Ported" mean different amounts of flow depending on the job. You guys must be pretending to be this stupid, 'cause if it were true you'd need someone next to you telling you when to breath.

Panther, you even link a closed thread to another that [cork soaker] is carrying on with the same [shizzle]. What's your motive? The rules also mention racial offensive content. Personally I find calling "Australians" dumb & ignorant offensive. You allow that? Of course you do.
So I ask you again, are you impartially moderating this site or not?

I'm rubber, you're glue, etc, etc.

Seriously, people who whine like you should be gathered up and shot.

Panther made a remark towards the aussies who spoke of "high flowed" turbos and knew nothing about the process which makes them so.

YOU took things out of context and got your panties in a bunch because you wanted to be CAPTAIN AUSTRALIA CRUSADER FOR AUSSIE RIGHTS or some such crap and tried to turn this into a "OMG PANTHER IS A RACIST MODERATOR HE HATES AUSTRALIA AND KANGAROOS WAH WAH" deal.

Gathered up and shot, all of you.

Shot, now that does sound like another real mature interweb threat.

I hope you're the one with the gun. You sound stupid enough that you may just shoot yourself.
