then thats what you should have said from the begining!
you may get 12psi out of it before boost cut, but, you'll figure that out on your own.
As far as 12psi blowing it up........again, won't happen, if you keep on top of everything else.
The engines are extremely reliable, and shouldn't give you any problems, granted, like any engine, proper maintence is done always.

And again, don't be mad at anyone, as you said that you wanted to blow it up...........
if you were to state what you just said here at the begining, there would have been no problems.

The only reason I am somewhat sympathetic to him is I used to talk the same way (tried to phrase it better) but I abuse my vehicles, for as long as I can remember whenever I am behind the wheel of a car the song from Scarface plays over and over again in my head "Push it to the limit, limit"..."take it to the limit"...
Could just be a little voice in my head ?
I've chewed up new clutches, left new tires on the pavement in front of shop, and no I cant afford to do so, but cant control myself, summer 2005 I blew 6 or 7 stock turbo's.
I almost let others brake in my engines, I can controle myself alone, but I need a sing on the car " DO NOT RACE! BREAKING IN ENGINE." because I cant help but race them? On the street I'm the equivelent of the wolverine in nature, I'll race a smart car or a kid on a bike, If I'm next to a street light, then I'll race my cars shadow.

Maybe I see life different from others but what I can understand from stock88mx6gt is that hes new with these cars and under the impression that if he runs 12lbs on an engine with 210000 milles on it, it will blow up and he has accepted this and is willing to run 12lbs, enjoy the ride and blow up the engine.
Nowhere do I see anything stated that his main goal was to blow the engine, rather to boost the engine, he stated the outcome would be the engine blowing up (wich he believes will happen).
However stock88 with proper maintenance @ 12lbs both the engine and turbo could still have a long life ahaed of them, get the new engine and get it ready this winter but dont be to quick to write of the one your runing now, many thing can go wrong with an engine, look at the new one as a spare.

Stock88mx6gt dont feel attacked by the members here they are a good bunch of guys, this is a usual hazing, you could be an automotive guru like Gale Bank come on under a different user name and still have to earn respect. Once you learn how things work around here post properly and run searches theill be cool.

I give you props for wanting to up the boost, but do it properly.
Stock is boring.
