Yep it's too keep in with the size they could proberly of gone to 2.6L twin turbo and it would have passed but you may find it already is 2.6L with larger pistons.
You also find that with the smaller size of the engine it would want to rev more quikcly perfect for a race car.

That makes me wonder, since its coming out of Austrailia and down under where they have ZE's, and unless they are using the A- (or E-) spec 03, does that mean that ZE can be turboed? If it is a ZE my guess is that they lowered the compression, or is there another way? hmmm...

We didn't get ZE in Aus. Only Japan got them.

The ones where have are just the regular 03 engines.

Are you serious? for some reason i always thought that AUS had the ZE's. So your 6's are identical to A-Specs?

Yeah that's right we only go the KL-03 but we can get the complete KL-ZE fitted MX-6 cars or just about any Japanese car as we drive the same ways as they do in Japan.
but I don't think our Mx-6's would be anything near the A-spec one's after all most of ours are 4WS, better finshed and built in Japan.

Australian Mx6's were only kl03 2.5 v6 powered, no I4, built in Japan, had 4WS. Theres probably quite a few differences in general trim between our mx6's and your a-spec mx6's

Kerb weight about 1260 kg for man, 1305 kg for auto. we also had 2WS models which where 50kgs lighter, so the weight of 4WS should be about 50kgs. And before you ask No its nigh on impossible to put 4WS into an a spec mx6. Easier to convert a jspec to lhd.

WTF, how did this peice of information miss me, I have a turbo 1993 MX-6 but I didn't know this.
So the next question is, has anyone in north america done this conversion? You were unclear about that.

It will be virtually impossiable to convert

You will need

front steering rack
Steering rod
rear steering rack
4WS power steering pump
rear suspension
fluid lines
4WS computer (2)
4WS wiring harness
