86 626 filler neck

hey my names derrick and i have a 86 mazda 626 liftback. found that the filler neck is rotten just the vent tube so i need a new one. local parts store do not have one at all (stupid i think). so any one out there have one preferably on vancouver island bc i like it.

He's talking about the filler neck for gas.

Just an FYI, you can use any one from any 1g (MX-6, Probe, and 626). I used one off a '89 junkyard 626 GT which I found mint and it worked on my '91 PGT.

'86 probably has a different one though. '88 was the first year for the updated liftback/first gen mx6.

When I had to replace mine I had better luck finding someone with access to junkyards with parts in better shape. I found a member from texas and asked him to grab one from his local junkyard and ship it to me, fully compensated with extra for his troubles.
