93 CV half shaft

i'm looking for the intermediate shaft (or full CV shaft) for the passenger side from a 93-95 v6 MTX
i would prefer the one with the 3 bolt mount, however a 2 bolt will do nicely as well

let me know if you have an extra... thanks

**EIDT** updated listing terminology and specifics.

Thats not a half shaft .. or axle .. Its called the intermediate shaft ..

And if you have a 2 bolt one you can drill it out to make it work ..

There has been some cross talk about this .. But from my experience .. if you have an ATX you have to have an intermediate shaft from another ATX (iirc 93 is the only yr that had 3 bolts) .. same for MTX if you have an MTX then you have to have a shaft from an MTX .. This goes for any year ..

Your best bet would be Hughes on finding one .. I think most people reuse the ones they have .. there always seems to be a scarce supply of those 3 bolt ones around here ..

Its the shaft that goes directly into the trans on the PS and it bolts to the back of the block .. and then the axle slides on to the intermediate shaft ..

The OP Just needs to post if he has an ATX or MTX ...

Hey... THANKS.... yea i didn't even really know, i pulled that info from the response a member gave me on another post.

so i'm looking for the intermediate shaft for a MTX... preferably 93 with the 3 bolt.
But apparently the 2 bolt will work too.

the one i have right now only has the 1 bolt (97) so it won't line up with any of the holes.

1 bolt ?? Ive never seen one of those .. (i havent worked on a 97 before either)

If you try a search you can probably find some info on how you can drill out the 2 bolt shaft to work .. Shouldnt be that hard if you can get in there and mark where the hole needs to be .. then drill it out .. and mount it up ..

EDIT:::

Hughes isnt a what its a who .. hes a site sponsor .. and he parts out a lot of probes and mx6's ..

heres his profile..
http://www.mx6.com/forums/members/hughes46.html

heres a pic of the 2 and 3 bolt shafts ..

Heres another WTB where Hughes says he CAN modify one for the buyer and sell it to them ..
http://www.mx6.com/forums/wanted-buy...ze-engine.html (Passengerside Intermediate Shaft With Bearing (klze Engine))

As well hughes gives a description on how to mod the 2 bolt one to work in that thread as well ..

Yep, i was looking at it last night and there is just the 1 right up on top. it doesn't even come close to lining up with any of the holes ...

But thanks... i'll check that out... and some karma is coming your way as soon as i'm on a comp that will let me (at work now... lol... being productive obiviously)

LOL .. no worries .. I did edit my post above with some new links too

EDIT:::

Oh and no matter who or where you buy from .. Just be 100% sure its for an MTX .. the parts look exactly the same but the bracket is different in size .. Its not a big difference but theres a difference ..

Also .. Id take a look at your 1 bolt .. If it looks something like the 2 bolt in the pic above .. you may be able to drill the one bolt shaft out too ..
