Need to Paint the 6, Calgary!

Hi,

Typically I have rust stains growing around the weather strip area (common I hear) and a couple spots on my roof. Anybody know of a quality place that is economical in terms of price?

Thanks.

Not very. For my old '94 LS he wanted $2300 for a paint job, which included a fair bit of rust removal and body work.

I viciously bashed my front nose clip after some strung out incident in Sask. to which I wont get into, but some of the pics listed were taken after the repair. He redid my Z3 inserts, re-hung my doors, and completely redid my front nose, which had extensive cracking all over the lower nose.

For a grand total of $800. A body shop would have charged $4k for the same work. I think its safe to say hes quite reasonable.
Tell him Graham with the blue MX6 referred you

paint is next summer. Till then, it'll be a bra, and as little winter driving as possible to baby the paint till then.

WOW, that is a good price I'd say for all that work. All I'm really going for is a really nice respray with clearcoat, and obviously taking out a few of the small dings, and one kinda larger dent. Otherwise, the only rust is on the sunroof and truck, which I'm hunting for replacements for ATM. Everything else is clean. (I've searched!)

So... probably around 1500-1800 for that kind of work?
Thanks for the info Graham, I'm writing down the number right now.

Id say around from the $1800-to the $2500. Just to be safe. but yeah, around there. dont get me wrong I havn't seen your car so I dont know, and what he charges is his own thing, but I'd presume around there somewhere.

yeah I'm up for whatever. There really isn't a Calgary crew anymore as we used to head out to pubs and go for cruises. It was a blast, we were like a group of friends but with everybody not having an mx6 anymore (asides from one or two odd guys left) then its hard for everybody to meet realistically.
If Shawn, Neils, Lewis, Ray, Nelly and everybody else from Calgary would be down, then great, I'm up for whatever, but I have a feeling it'll be two people showing and thats it.
