I didn't mean a race... and i didn't mean to offend anyone... sorry... i was just saying i know a few good roads for a good drive, not a race, as I know what racing cruises are like and i would never go on one again, simply due to the fact that someone actually ran into me when i had my old AR, not much damage, but a near miss with a tree... ok? now i am sorry that i came across like that i wanted a race, but i dont, i'd rather jump into my kart and have an actual race that means something... but, if it turns out to be a night cruise through the hills I'm out, I've seen too many writen off vehicles due to Kangaroo's and i dont want the next I see mine or anyone elses in the club...

and on another topic all together, When looking at an AX/Y Telstar at the auctions b4 chrissy i noticed that it had a 2.2L(?) DOHC motor in it, what is it? and how hard would it be to slap into an AS with a turbo mounted to it?

its a 2.0 DOHC, and since the mounts are completly different except fot the timing belt mount, forget it lol.

Also the night portion we would be chilling in Gawler, would probably be dusk on the way to Gawler. Or even dusk at Gawler.

Ive had the worst luck with my car today, cant believe some people in this town, first I wake up late for work quickly race out to car to find someone had egged it overnight no time to clean it up so drove it like that to work then after work some @#$%^&&* ran into my back in with an old 4wd with a big bullbar and then took off, only got a little dent out of it but thats not the point, couldnt get the rego number or anything by the time I regained myself and gave chase he had already gone arrrrrggggghhhhh

Oh That sucks, atleast isnt wasnt a lot of damage. Someone ran into my car with a forklift, and I was in the car when they did it, but they denied it and there was nothing I could do.

That reminds me of something i did when i was younger in my VC SLE lol, i was at Maccas at west lakes leaving in a hurry to follow my mate in his R33 so i jumped in my car and reversed while looking in my rearvision mirror to see where i was going. silly me forgot to straighten the wheel when i parked and as i left the VC's front left corner slamed in to the new Lancer next to me lol (not funny at the time) what stopped me and made me hit the brakes was the dude was sitting in his car as i hit it and he started yelling abuse at me and i was like whats his problem then as i took my eyes off the rearview mirror and looked across at him it had all sunk in.
That cost me alot of money and taught me alot as a young driver and i had insurance on my car from that day on

But Band sorry to hear that hope my story makes you feel it could of been worse lol

Have a Happy New Year Everybody and Drive Safe

happy new years ppl!!!

however mine has not been... My car started pinging like a MOFO the other day /cry so i dicked around with the timing and now it doesn't, however, the night i fixed the timing, i blew a spark plug so now under load i drp a cyl. then driving home from damn Grenock (about 15k's from nuriootpa for those who dont know) dropped another cyl. only done it once though so im guessing that's another plug about to die (fair enough)... and yesterday, well that has been the worst for my car, one off my welsh(?) plugs, and yes the hardest one to get to, decided it'll spring a leak... woo hoo (sarcastic)... so now im carless, jobless pissed right off... anyway, have a good new years ppl, im gonna try and implode or something...

Peace out...
Selva.

New years was a blast just got back from the riverland, went canoing today and got a bit burnt so the sun roof will have to be closed all this week
