As in when it's in gear you can move the shifter side-to-side? Could just be worn bushings. Jasonius did a nice write up on replacing those in the 2G gearbox (MX6 2G FAQ Australian Specific) - there's probably something similar for the 1G.

nah christian, if it clicks when turning it's ya CV's, they dont take long at all to brake, especially on a turbo car... also, theye wair out quicker if you have a cracked boot, so if ya have they get dirt in them and brake... the joys of owning a fwd turbo... lol... joys

Lol i was going more down the lines of a smart reply about Lara Bingle over your car, but just could'nt get the wording right lol.

Gezz it was a big dog i cant belive i didnt kill it, as the owner was in the wrong i stopped and made sure he paid up for the damage. 24 hours later he handed over about $1200, and Selva the next day i went and bought my Turbo Smart In-cabin Controller

I still want a Electronic controller, if i got one mine would then be for sale. i paid about $220 for it.

If you ever hit a dog make sure its a rich guys dog

Im still using it, works great

Also i used to own Dions current car, when i had it i hit a dog and used the money from the owner (for damages) to buy my incabin BC, and i installed it to my old car. before i sold it to Dion i removed it to put in my current 626 where it is today

I now see massive benifets having a elecrtonic boost controller so im waiting for a good deal on one, till then ill keep enjoying what ive got.
hope that cleared it all up for ya.

Just to make it more confusing, I sold PSI626 an AT TX5 TURBO in there too. Some of the parts from that car are on my 626, some are on PSI's 626 to keep it simple. PS Mark dont tell me what you reaped youll make me cry

ok... i gots ya now... nah i dunno if i am... i dont think my cv's will last another trip on that much dirt... and i can afford to fix them and go... im worried that one or both will fail completely, and it's a long walk home!
