Yeah that could also be sending it into LHM, however... wtf is the G1 signal? also, i think i've figured out what my "Fart and get on with it" problem is... i know it's electrical, that's a definate, so here is my question, how fragile is the c.a.s. in the dissy on the AS and GD(?) Turbo's? cos i opened up my dissy and corrotion much? it looks like it was dunked in the sea or something. anyone got a dissy for me at all? and if worse comes to worse, how much is a rough gestimantation on getting my dissy reco'd??? and oh yeah, anyone know the computer error signals and how to get the signals???
however, i do have some good news... for once... My Telstar is really starting to shape up a bit, I got a new rear bar and bar ends on this week WooTies, and i got a bar and right hand bar end to go on (i've already replaced the left one when i replaced the guard)... so that'll be going on soon, I've also picked my paint, AUII Metallic Charcoal for the main, and for the bottom skirtings and the GT Stripes (going on with paint) will be a nice silver off my old 1980 323, but im getting the same weight per litre of silver flakes as the charcoal, also im getting a new Dash without cracks and getting it re-trimmed black, and all the plastics are going to be painted in the silver, with ADR complied and ASC (aussie standards certified) Racing Bucket seats for the front trimmed in Black Vinyl for the side walls and Black micro suede for the bum and back, and rear seats trimmed to match, all black plastics from a 626 (pillars ETC ETC, i already have the black boot ) new carpet most of all (however may not end up being carpet at all, rather then Glass Fibre [undecided]) ummmmm... yeah... well that has just drained me! when i can think of others i'll let ya know... also when i've decided on my rear bar i'll let ya's know, i already got an EVO 2/3 Front bar sorted and some side skirts that match... and i've been practising my painting! although still not fantastic, i can get it on smooth and shiny off the gun with acrylic... oh yeah, for my spoiler im thinking something like the BA Supercar spoiler would look allright, if not just on of those $300 ones from repco, i was gonna put one on my old AR Telstar, but never got the money together...

ANYWAY, now that im out of words...
Peace out.
Selva...

P.S. did ya have fun reading all that?

No, because i have no idea whats is going on salve =]

My Car Update: I have finished panting my car, took almost half a year! ( Long brakes tho?)

its looking very nice, but i would like to know something, how hard its it to make your home sub box? and since i have a hatch, putting speakers in the cardboard caperted thing (I dunno what to call it) behind the back seats will sound bad? i have told it till.

3 more months to my P's =D

And Question: When is the next cruise, is anyone going to organize it?

yeah that wil sound bad... what i have found with Hatches is that if you cut the Parcel Tray in half and discard the back half and put speakers in the front half that sound fkn awesome... especially in Telstars and 626 coz of the hath shape and posi it deflects the sound straigh off the window and into the back of your head and sub boxes are easy to make if you know what you are doing and have all the routing tools and stuff... best left to the pro's or carpenters dude... however i can organise with my mate who made me a new parcel tray for my escort and maybe i could take you up to Kersbrook for A: A drive B: A design session.. oh yeah, he's FKN GOOD, you should see his beetle... it's tough!

Banditojones you will not have much bass with two if they face each other unless one is running out of phase, because the sound will cancel each other out other wise. if your putting in subs face them together side by side in seperate enclosers facing the rear of the car this way cutting out baffle and reflecting the bass into the rear glass back into the cabin.
Red dont bother with rear speakers in a hatch if you have a sub you wont hear them over your fronts and sub any way.
Install good quailty 6 inch speakers (splits if its in your budget) to the front doors, your more than welcome to see how this is working for me at my place. I run 1x 12inch Kicker VR Comp sub and ive turned down the bass so i can think to myself.

Selva i thought you might of liked to see what i done to my AR years ago, the inside was brown and so were the door trims before i went crazy doing it up. The other pic is of the full boot install i did, had so much bass till one morning it was all gone .

Listen to PSI, he know's what he's talking about, he's saying esactly what i have ... also, i like your interior in the AR dude! that's like what i've got planned in the next few weeks... good car colour too :P.... oooooo, i gots more parts for my car aswell today, i got the rear lower apron, just need to paint it, but im STILL looking for the rear upper apron (between lights and bar) which is proving hard to find in goo condition ... also psi, i like what you have done to the front doors and speakers, i dont want any of my gear visible atm so it's all going in the stock spots, 4" splits for the front, 6" splits for the rear, as for the subs, they are unfortunately gonna be hidden under the tray as AR/S have the worlds greatest boot lock in the world, im guess that's how they got into yours aswell??? that got my first gear in my old AR that way then when i got my new gear some other twat tried it, and somehow managed NOT to get in... he must've been intelligent LOL... but im getting some new door trims to work with as all the backings on mine have broken tabs...

yes I realise that now psi I now have them firmly wedged facing the seats so when I put the seats down the speakers are facing me works pretty well got it running clear at around 110 decibels pretty happy with that now I just have to try and mod it a bit to make them look better lol

dude... if you face them to the back of the car they sound better, i have run db testings back to back with them... you get a better reading with them facing the hatch.

I might just do PSI but I'll give you a buzz.

Anyway just found out a hugeeee!! let down, on the back of my head unit i only have 2 RC plugs. for running 2 amps i need 4 RC Plugs.

I thought i would get the cheaper head unit coz it came with speakers.

I guess the lesson is, Never try to cut it cheap.

Anyways, Anyone know much about RC spliters? are they any good
the guys at autobarn said they are bad?

you guys know much about them? any good or not really? or save to get a good head unit or run 6 speakers off my head unit already?

Band you didnt get what i was saying. facing the sub to the front will have a higher tone than if you used it backwards. futher the bass sound travels more clear and vibrante it is.
The amount of times i used to see commondores have a sub going through the rear seat arm rest just so they could see it blew my mind. Bass is all about air movement and speak positioning.

Red its not that bigger deal, amps have an output to go to another amp. multiple outputs (on the deck)just mean you can ajust the whole sound system from your deck. you can still ajust it from your amp and most function from deck already. i know once ive set my sound system up i hate fiddling with any of the setting because it never seems to sound as good as when you first had it.

red use the splitters, thats what I use, but I split the RCA cables behind the HU so there is 4 RCA's to the back of the car. My old HU which I think is now in PSI626's car had 4 outs, but I only ever used 2 of them and used splitters. I still got kudos for the sound.
