Just thought i would post up how im feeling....
I'll get right to it then, Back in October-November i took some time out to organise a cruise so we could enjoy our cars as a group. I thought it was great to put a face to a few names from here and catch up with few i had already met before. It was a great day and i really enjoyed myself and left looking forward to us meeting up more often in the future. Since then it has honestly been a bit disapointing that no one has put thier hand up to take some time out and organise something for the group. Im not thinking we might all be able to meet up every few weeks or month. but it would be awsome getting to cruise once every 3 months or so and a different member put thier hand up to organise it each time.

Just my 2cents and i look forward to reading what others might think on this matter also.

Mark

PSI, i was thinking th same thing today, to be honest, i would/will do it, but i have no idea WHERE! people would want to go

Or what to do, and i wouldn't lead on the day. being still on my L's (yeah 3 months to go yes!)

i have a suggestion where to go,
25th of march? <sunday>
Leave From Bunngings at Marion. or Maccers/Hungrys At Castle plaza
at 11:30?

And then drive to Hahndorf get there by 2:30-3?
eat lunch; at a pub or something, I'm sure that there will be a lot of them? ;D. talk and what not.
Then what ever?

sound good? i have never been to Hahndorf before, ever. so someone will have to lead the way but thats just a suggestion.

Also another suggestion, same meeting place but go to mt bore reasovar. ( i think thats the name of the dam i went to? but all i know it had awesome look out points )
Something like "chains of ponds" my father suggested it he said it a very good drive but has no idea where it is?

But yeah, thats just a few ideas =] do you like?

That does sound good, i like the Hahndorf idea. use www.whereis.com to find a route, i would seggest going up Flagstaff hill rd, then all the way down Blacks rd then turn left towards Blackwood through the hills up past Beliar Golf course following the rd to the Highway then going to Hahndorf. on the way home going all the way down the Highway throught the tunnel ect.

I ate at a all you can eat resturant(pub, bistro) a few years back at Hahndorf, good food and on the main drag.

One of these days i'll actually get around to reading this forum more often...

Hahndorf cruise sounds great, i'll definately be in for it. Should have springs installed by then as well as a new alternator bracket and maybe a heater core..... Oh the pain of owning an older car. Funnily enough the most reliable things are the ones that you thought would fail.

Hey Red i was talking to a mate and he suggested that we might find we are following grannies in white corollas and no room to pass (like last cruise), he thought you could find a better route.......... he also suggested that Eagle of the hill on the way home would be cool to . get out some maps and you make the choice and we will all go with that, im happy to lead on the day if you dont want to too.
