god i hate those kind of ppl! i had some dickwad throw a maccas cup at me in my TX3, i turned around and almost run them over coz they ran out in front of me... then they started chasing me in there commonwhore (NA TX3 v VN... you figure it out!) so i bolted... as they had 2 full cars chasing little ol me... and later that night i blew me clutch (have pics) so yeah... it was a good night ...

and the AT/V telstars (even with the FE) have a different front mount to the AR/S, and they modified the damn block, not the mount???? FTW??? so modifications will be ness. how ever modifying things isn't a problem for me... (my last project was BP motor into a BD 323, it all went in, but then it turned out to be too much of a head[fizzle] )...

And ok 000mx6, you did grind second, but you did get traction off the line, however i did not (damn shyte retreads!) so either way we'll call a f'ups even ok? but you still beat me... *mutter* I need that FE2t and 12psi... or more...

Peace Out...
Selva.

When you say FE2T im assuming you are talking about the F2T yes?

As fair as I knew the AS TURBO had a FE-T. Unless im on the wrong track

It is the IHI RHB52KW series.

VJ11 for the F2T
VJ-5 for the FE-T

The FE and F2 is the engine

FE-T SOHC 8V single point injection (2.0L)
F2T SOHC 12V Multipoint injection (2.2L)

you have the F2T, and your turbo is a IHI VJ11

if you need to replace the turbo go to Athol Park Ford Wreckers... the have a few F2t with the tubo on it... and the FEt has a VJ8 not a VJ5... i just took mine off and put the VF11 on it from the F2t... did everyone see what i did to my VJ8??? or should i get the pic off my phone and share it to the world???

another thing... IHI Turbo manufacture all there car turbo's to be interchangeable without modifying orginal dump pipe etc etc... so that means... when i got the dosh, im fitting on a very nice '06 WRX STI VF22 tubs *GLEE* yeah i was hell cheering when i found out that subs use IHI turbos aswell... i was all like "w00ties *GLEE*".... but i need get myself a TMIC first though, those that were on the cruise and looked under my babies skirt (talking bout my car here) can understand why... mainly coz i CBF'd in taking the turbo off again to adjust the damn compression snail... but meh...

Peace Out...

it was gonna cost me a $1000 (no typo) to get mine rebuilt, that was new seals, turbines, bearings etc etc, so it's just cheaper to go buy a second hand one for $350... if you go for the second hand one look for:

Cracked Turbines on the compression side and the Exhaust side, hairline fractures make big bang...

Bent turbine fins make a loud whistle, increase turbo lag (due to added drag on the turbo) and cause boost flutter (when at full boost it will flutter around where it should be boosting at)

and check shaft play on all axis as this can cause turbine failure (This is what happened to my original one, can post pics)

Ther ya go... btw i checked all the turbo's at athol park (of course i got the best) but the others are in very good condition also... mine had only done like 20'000 kms, the others have done around 50 - 60'000kms...
