ok after much deliberating... and cursing... i have finally managed to get the new water pump in!!! YAY, i think that if i ever have to do it again on one of these snot boxes i'll be slitting my wrists... or just buying a new car... again... it really isn't all that fun... however it seems to be doing it's job without leaking etc etc... and i think i slipped the timing too, it seems to have power off boost now as well roflol...

FE3 water pumps are even worse.

From what I remember the 2.0 FE pumps just had a paper gasket between the pump and the block.....

The FE3 one has an O-ring that is a composite shape that falls out its groove every time you try to put the pump on the block....

Yeah the FE3 has the stupid pipe. Its not actually bolted onto the pump though, its bolted onto the block right next to the pump.

Im so glad its today now... No more uni exams for 7 months!!!!

On the downside I start full time work for the holidays on Monday

i don't know if xr6 rims would fit onto your car but you would have to take into account the size of your threads, they might not match up to the rims so you might have to drill some holes! the off sets, you might have to look at rolling your guards if they're too big! would they clear your brakes? you might need spacers if they don't! just a few things you just gotta take into consideration! you can just go to a tyre shop and ask! i fiound tyre power helpful......

ugh, last night driving home from work my brake peddle lost pressure and my foot went all the way down to the floor. and then it would take 5 more meters to stop.

so this morning i looked in to add more braker fluide for one.
and it was empty!

as i spend most of my spare time between school, work, gf, and more work I read that 626 93-95 had a problem with leaking calipers.

so i jacked the car up and took off the wheels.
i remeber my uncle *who did the cv joints, roters and pads a few months back* said he had troubble with it the back left side brake n pulled it apart, so i had a look and what did i find?

brake fluid.

all over the wheel and everything!
so it must of been slowly leaking over time!
he must of broken a seal or somthing.

So tomorro I should be getting a new one and my lipkit should be hear.
