Well the TX now has 200sx rims on the front lol, but not back as I need narrower rubber haha.
Anyway, the car is so low it got stuck on the car trailer lol. it was sitting on the chassis when we were trying to take it down the ramp. looks good though. This TX5 is a weird one, it has a slightly crinkly roof, (no dents) just abit wavy lol but the paint is almost new (or something) and done properly which is good and came up real nice after a clean. Im excited about it being all ready and drivable.  |

yeah i know its high!
i was going to get the XR6BA rims but the guy who i was guying it off sold em for 600 not 500 just as i rang to buy them today he had just sold them! >=[ So now i dont know what to do, keep on saving i guess or ill get some springs.. EDIT: So, your not going to Re-rego your 626? |

you're girlfriend could buy a Telstar turbo... heh, i know someone who has one for sale... but i wouldn't sell it to anyone on here though... i dont trust it enough lol... TX3's are generally expensive, my gf's one had a fair amount of body damage on it and it still cost her $1200 to buy... a good one (same shape as mine) can range from $2000 - $4000, i got mine really cheap for what it is.... give this guy a ring (dont know his name sorry) however im not sure if he still has it, it's a red KC/E TX3 in fairly good condition and he wants $1800 for it, his number is 0413 168 525, but like i said, dunno if he still has it, just say a mate saw it a while ago and it popped up in convo....

well, this is just a 1986 ford laser, KE/KC right?
for 500, going to look at I sunday, all I know is that the paint is faded and there is a small dent around the front fender. if this car isnt worth the 500 ill giev that guy a ring! thanks for that Selva! |

hmmmmm at $500 the motor is probably well and truly smokey... just keep an eye on what comes out the back of it... and on start up...

the guy him self is a mechanic and a family find of my mothers, so he did most of his own work on it and he said its pretty good motor wise, just the body work is abit ruff, small dentand paint faded, ill take photos if i get a chance.

my TX3 is going fkn well actually... hell glad i got it, main problem with it still is that it leaks oil out of the dissy area, no big deal just a new o-ring basically... ask dion if that TX3 is still there as he lives up in two wells roflol...

we looked at it yeasterday after soon!
WHAT A CAR! we first thought it wasnt going to be a tx3 and it was! non turbo and fwd How sexy are they? Perfect Motor! started up fine first go no smoke no nothing! the motor got rulled recond 3 months ago and a new gear box 3 months ago! it needs a really good paint job as most of it has faded heaps and it has a few dents but my dad will pull them out for her *dads a spray painter by trade* but it need a new drivers side fender! but it comes with a ford sports stearing wheel I seriously love those cars! and how in the back seats the arm rest wraps around you! $500 I'm jealous! its a steal! |

well it turns out that the TX5T did infact have a blown headgasket, water has corroded out the gasket in one spot. It will be going this weekend with any luck
Need to pick up some parts for it to get her going. 1. Turbo hoses from Mazda and one other hose 2. Array of Gaskets (Head, Inlet, Exhaust etc.) 3. Door Locks and Ignition as the ones on it are fizzled 4. Rear Quarter window mouldings 5. Proper TX5 Turbo Steering wheel and a few niggly things I can probably get from U-PULL-IT I cant wait to start driving it Poor 626........  |

nice work dion and red.... but i must say red, my tx3 is better
on it was always going to be as mine is mine is it a KE or a KC??? Ke has square edged tail lights and quad headlights.... for instance mine is a KC with a KE front  |

haha!
its 1986 so KC! yeah she is keen for the Quad headlight setup! there are a few on ebay for 200 bucks, but where would you find another? wreakers maybe? im going to souths u pull it to grab some things today  hope it dosnt rain! the turbo tx3 are DOHC? and the non turbo are SOHC? is that right? spent all morning cleaning it love this thing!! and it isnt even mine! My dad and her have decied its going to be painted the two tone but the blue is going to be blue print (the XR6 Colour that blue sparkly one) Going to be a very very good car once a few things are fixed up! tx5turbo shouldnt your tx5 now be faster? then the 626? :P |
