info on cruise? Umm, i asked if anyone had seen them or talked ot them, and asked if they still read it on here. but no reply. .. anyways, is this cruise with that 323 group or somthing you said a few posts back? |

HELLO!
Im not dead, like red said im heaps busy with my job! I have employed a guy at work that owns a 626 like reds and his doing it up. hes keen to get some info off anybody that could give him some good ideas on what to get or do. My car has going ok but have had no time even to do small things to it (like fix the drivers door handle so it opens from the out side.... lol) Im keen to meet up with you guys for a cruise, might give me the motivation to do a few things to her  Mark |

hey mark...
well i got a new car!!! not sure if ya know this already but im still excited about it  KC TX3 with j-spec turbo conversion... hehehe it's fast....But yeah, anyway, so the cruise date has been set for the 10th of february which is a sunday... i think.... it will be a DAY cruise, which will include some hills driving but not limited to the hills, no need to bring your helmets, it's not all going to be racing, as most of the adelaide ppl don't have turbo lasers, we are all pov, except me (ehem), roflol...as of yet the cruise is still bein planned out by Darius (of fordlaser.com) and i will be posting up the route once it is in, it will be a Ford/Mazda day out, which includes (but not limited) to pretty much all small mazda's and the ford hybrid's... however i requested if the Laser's big brother could come for a play (ie 626/Telstar/mx6) and well, you can... im guessing that you will need (but not essential) to bring a CB radio, possibly on channel 3/32/23 not sure which maybe completely differen though, as there are reguations about what channels can be used... i will probably copy n paste this into thecruise forum.... when i could be bother anyway  |

YAYAY!!! I'll 110% come to this, being that i have never met any of you guys or been driving with yous. anyway
ayyayaya mark isnt dead! a few things to tell him are, Headers off ebay in the US should be around 145 shipped. Like 125 shipping and 120 for the headers.. and dont say they are cheap as, the USA guys love em! and pretty much 1005 bolt on. next tell him if its manual to go cold air intake.. and then 17inch ford xr6 rims from a BA Anyways, last weekend i met a guy with a blue mx6 that had Jspec head lights, he didnt know.. and Jspec foglights.. very hard to get! i must say mx6 body style is very nice and i love Jspec headlights. but since it was fully jspec on the outside i thought he might have a KLZE.. and guess what? ... he didnt  oh well very nice guy too!i also have some pretty shocking news.. but thats going to have to wait.. ;D |

Guess what folks, my "invincible non turbo auto gearbox" has gone a bit jumpy on me, but not too much, see if it goes away cause i think it has before lol. *touchwood* it wont break but yeah. Its probably the fact that when you tramp it when the turbo spins up it breaks traction sometimes :P
My TX5 turbo is sitting in my driveway......i got new rubber at all 4 corners last weekend |

check the oil level in the trans... just sounds like it needs a bit more... but the ATX was always a fairly jumpy trans...

dion thats what it did when i first got that car, it always seemed to do it when i took off out of a round about. from what i have learnt its because the oil is not moving from one side of the box to the other at the right time. there is something in there with small holes that open and close and they get blocked with small bits off metal that wear away inside.

mate, the lag is made up for with about 180kw@w lol... fck the lag when ya got that much power in a small car
yeah i been thinking about an S13 sileighty, almost picked up a manuel S13 Silvia... but he told my cousin he wants to sell it 1 week after i got my sexy 3, worse thing is... IT WAS FOR THE SAME FKN PRICE!!!!!!!! goddamn it... but if i was to get an import it'lll have to be an R32, and yes i know they are everywhere, but as i recently discovered, it for a damn good reason!, my mate got one one and he took me for a drive in it, and fark!!! he finnaly let me take it for a blast, hell the laser may be able to keep up with them, but something has to be said for a RWD with that much balls... hehehe what marks in gawler |

A: couldnt get a loan myself
B: couldn't find one worth what they were selling them for C: Laser came up at the right time for the right price... oh and i've wanted a KC/E TX3 Turbo since i was knee high to a grasshopper (now im [fizzle]ing 6ft grrr) and the evo VIII doesn't have 298kw@w the most powerfull evo was the III or IV after that japan adopted aussie's new environmental laws, and they couldn't get anymore power and continue to meet standars.../cry shame really, the evo VIII is by far the best looking... EDIT: sorry my bases is on the Jap and Aussie spec, in the us i think they got the [fizzle] off powerfull ones... |

well, i got it off wiki, i think its the US one.. pretty sure..
sorry aboyut thw wrong info i have a fast four mag on my desk its got a laser 91 with a 13B rotary in it. and its now RWD not 4WD uses a skyline diff. Odd.and a few photos of that 6s mazda mx6. Crazy! Info on that cruise yet? |

yeah it's set to go, i think the cruise route will be handed out on the day... i'll get more info when it's available there is also a tuned 4 street cruise the weekend before, i may hit that one as well, but not sure yet

GRRRRR: Well last night i turned on my computer and BAM, i gots the blue screen of death (BSOD) when logging into windows, meh no biggy let it reset, did it again... so i thought "hmmm maybe i should hit up safe mode to restore back a few days" so i went into safe mode, and well, to my surprise i kept getting the BSOD, about the 3rd time i have ever seen it in safe mode, not even windows 98 blue screened in safe mode!!! so i was like, [fizzle], i have to reinstall windows, no biggy, just annoying, so i tried repairing it first anyway, tried restoring to a previouse date within setup, oh what? blue screen?? grrr, as anyone who knows about windows knows that a blue screen during a restoration is fatal as it wipes your whole registry and rebuilds it to an earlier date... so i had a total windows failure i was like oh damn... so i went to reinstall windows (Vista is awesome and renames the windows directory as old.windows incase you didn't get a chance to back up) and i started the vista install and went to my cousins to install his turbo timer for him... i got home, to a BSOD DURING INSTALLATION!!! now there is only 2 cause for this, faulty ram and/or HDD, and well my ram is 6 months old so i knew it wasn't that, and my hard drive has nothing wrong with it (frequent testing i do proves it!)... so i got thinking, there is only 1 thing that would cause simultaneous HDD/RAM failure, and that is insufficiant power. i remember about 2 weeks ago my video card kept reporting insufficiant power (so i unplugged a fan lol).. and then it clicked, PSU failure, should have realised when i did a ram check and it came up with hardware error (generally faulty ram or insufficiant power)... GRRR so i have gone and got a PSU off my mate a nice big 450w one so i shouldn't run into anymore trouble wif that!!! wooties...
oh an i have had to reinstall windows anyway coz im a moron a times!!! |
