you mean an AR TX5??? (same shape as mine) if so i think i know the one... gold or silver yeah?

hmm it had tx5.

and that that 'teslstar tx5' sticker below the boot garnish.

it was 2 tone i think with white top and grey bottom.

and have the red turbo 12V badge on the side

and. sport type wheels.. 6 spoke i think. and 17"

Hey guys just thought I would pop in here and say see ya to yas all, my telstar did its alternator last year dont know if it was the lights amps or dvd player that did it maybe all of them lol and I just dont have the free time and money to be bothered fixing it and hate having a car not working in the back yard so am selling it. If anyone is interested in using it for parts or fixing it up to sell or use I got it advertised on carsales.com for $700 ono hope as all kee going strong in the mean time

banditojones, your tx5 turbo? checked it out on car sales, very nice mate!

does the car still turn over and start?
when does rego run out?
any other problems?
anything we should know about?
just little bit more info for people.. thats all

rego runs out on 27th only other prob with it is hatch doesnt unlock (got no idea why and as with the alternator cant be bothered fixing) its not turbo but still has plenty of grunt needs to be jump started to get going cause of flat battery from alternator not woking but once jumped runs fine took it out for a drive yesterday if it doesnt sell just going to wreck it in demo derby

I thought Bandito's was a Ghia?

BUT, anyone who is interested I have a '89 TX5 TURBO Manual, which had a new headgasket recently and it has milky oil again. So if anyone's interested, let me know, id be happy with $1000 for it i guess


89 TX5
2.2 EFI I/C TURBO
5 SPEED MANUAL
Silver/Grey 2 tone
New Timing Belt
New Brake Pads
23X,XXX KMS
ABS
Tyres have some tread

Overall Good Condition, dash isnt cracked etc. has some damage on rear bar and RH Back panel, but yeah need to see it cause i cant explain.

Yeah on the cars guide its a Ghia.. so that means its a F2? right?
Why is everyone selling up?

ill get pix tomorrow, but maybe the head or block wasnt perfectly flat when the headgasket was installed, or the turbo seals have now blown, or the head is cracked, I dont really know. It purrs like a kitten still.

REDMX, it doubt it would be an FE3, they arent common

i gotta save for 180SXbut first gens always tempt me.

yes its the one on myspace and yes its the one i just bought. Only difference it has stock rims now, the 200SX rims are on my 626T. Ill get pix.

nah I didnt get to take it!

yeah the oil is milky because water has mixed with it.

Ill try and take pics but its really dirty lol. Needs to be washed first I think.
