I wont be getting all custom pipes. To expensive atm. Maybe in 2 years when i thirst for more power (which i doubt)

My decision will come down to two. Custom from collectors onwards or just buy the rest from that aussie seller. Price will be the deciding factor . Most prob custom because once i add in the going over welds, and repairing my rear header coz it cracked anyway, and gaskets, and the fact that the hot pipes might not line up with the SSAC extractor collectors and will need some extension/chopping/welding anyway, custom will be easier .

I saw JGTC's posts (i float around a bit lol), and while he is right, and you can do it better, for the price of these pipes there pretty good (gaskets they give you are reaaaaally crappy lol, the metal is unused philips AA battery metal lol) but thats a cheap fix to make them copper gaskets

The main prob with these is they seem slighty unfinished
just a touch up here and there and they will be fine

you have the same pipes as mine, I had to reweld a 5cm crack on where the collectors come together and another one all the way around the turbo flange. I also tested the quality with a magnet all the pipes are stainless steel except for the flanges.

The walls aren't that thick so you might wanna make a support for ur turbo later on so when you go over a bump it won't make the pipes crack overtime due to the weight from the turbo.

EMISISONS TESTING!!!! holy crap that is a massive price bank breaker.

Ill do mine then for future referance for whoever wants to Turbo

Turbo Parts
SRDET 370cc injectors + modded DE rail----------------$120+30
Walbro 255 -------------------------------------------$150
Megasquirt Ecu installed+ tuning------------------------$570+300
T3/t4 Garret internaled Turbo --------------------------$600
Battery Relocation-------------------------------------$200
Hot Pipes & oil lines------------------------------------$600 installed
Intercooler+piping (ejunk)------------------------------$350
BOV---------------------------------------------------$240
Tial Wastegate-----------------------------------------$360

Total--------------------------------------------------$3480

Accessories
Turbo Timer--------------------------------------------$80
Boost gauge--------------------------------------------$60
Oil psi+braided hose-------------------------------------$25+50
Oil temp------------------------------------------------$28

Total --------------------------------------------------$243

Engineering including emmisions--------------------------$480 (mates rates)

Grand total--------------------------------------------$4203

Right now ill say i paid less than that for the turbo (mates rates) though that is how much it was going for. Ive allready got the injectors but i havent modded the rail yet though ive got someone to do it ready. All gauges are specometer and ive bought them all just not the braided hose yet. Prices for things may change coz of brands etc and gennerally i dont buy anything unless im getting a discount (Turkish people are like that )

Oh and im installing everything my self except oil lines and hot piping because they are being done on same day at a fabricator I know. Hot piping price includes his labour.

About the legal bits. Im in NSW, so that will make a difference. Im not 100% if the engineers cert comes with emissions testing although the guy i am getting it through has a very worked s15 (where i got my injectors from) and his engineers cert says clearly "passed emissions testing, complies with blah blah blah", so im assuming that it was done there. Oh and yer for the price above again mates rates.

Nin why is your batt relocation costing so much. the main price of mine is just for the box to put the batt in. Everything else isnt to expensive.

Sadly my cost would be awhole lot cheaper if i was in a different state and if it was a MTX alot cheaper still If i was a mtx in sydney and getting engineering at the same price as sik_turn id cost me a total of $3573

How i wish i lived in sydney right now

Good parts list tho man now both types of FI are covered

I was originally going to be paying $800 for an engineers cert. I just asked around. I bet though when it comes down to it i wont even engineer the thing. My plan was to do that last but i bet that the money would go to coilovers instead. Maybe when the WHOLE car is finished (not that they ever do) ill get the cert.

....dont forget for engineers cert they'll check ur weight to power ratio too, so KLZE + turbo = need for new brakes. they won't let u pass unless you get bigger onez or they know u well :P

Copex I have thought of that before and im pretty sure if they do check my power to weight would definately require new brakes. I would be disapointed in the investment if it didnt :P.

Again ive heard different things from different people. Will come down to the day i guess. If I do need bigger brakes, its not like ill sook. Ill probably just have a good excuse to upgrade and cant get sooked at saying that it is unnecessary

ahhaahhaha lol copex i would think that they would realise lol. That is a great idea though, ill just say it cant go past 2 psi if they do ask for bigger brakes .

And nin that is what brake set up i have and that is by no means big. I think by big they mean larger disks + calipers.

in otherwords you would have to get a custom big brake kit as they dont have one for the probes/626/mx6 unless u get from usa even then they wont accept it i think
