hey nin, i have a few question about the SC and the other mods, when i get more funds I'm going to SC my Tx5.. maybe.. but my questions are:

Im going to run my around a lower boost 4-7 PSI Max.
Does that mean im going to need the New ECU, Fule Pump, upgrade on the tranny (mine is auto =[ )

it isnt just possible to put the supercharger and make the custom mounts and run then?

I think im going to use a 4A-GZE S13-14 Supercharger.
Shafted

Thanks Mate!

hmm I dont know a lot about superchargers but something tells me you would need to get one more substancial than one designed for a 1.6 4cyl engine

Sadly the ATX is a piece of [shizzle] thanks mazda :P

It cost me $1,300 to beef up the tranny but i had to buy a Level 10 Torque converter from USA which cost $500 (i got it from a member off PT) so thats $1,800 if you can get the torque converter cheap enough like me

The ATX doesn't like power mods and will break hell it's broken on stock cars.

It might be cheaper by maybe $300 to do a ATX to MTX swap altho thats alot of hard work and fiddling around.

You also only have an option of 2 superchargers aswell

either a Eaton m62 or Eaton m90 both from mercades SLK

the Eaton m62 can be shaft driven which requires the battery to be relocated to the back and a sealed gel battery to be purchased.

Or you can remove the AC unit and put the m62 there this is the cheapest and most stealth mod ever and after the price creaps up with removing the battery and all that this would be the easier option.

The m90 can be adapted to bolt onto the back of the intake it's a tight fit but can be done.

It costs alot of money to do Forced induction on these cares we have to change the whole fuel system and the trannys to support the more power then we have to adapt a supercharger or turbo onto the the engine and move everything around.

MTX is manual right?
the S14 supercharger has been on 3L Holden V6s yup.
so whats what i was going to go with.
I might go MTX..
so you do need the new fuel setup for lower boost?
M90 Or the M62 dont have the electric clutch (so u can turn it off or on?) right?

Thanks Again!

M62 has the clutch the m90 doesn't so that means you can turn it on and off

MTX is manual and i think 2 or 3psi is the max u can do on the stock system even then the car will run quite rich it wasnt designed for forced induction thats why alot of the componets have to be changed and the engine has to be rebuilt with stronger parts if u do anything like 10psi and up

Go hard on the clutched setup

I just bought a fuel pump, walbro 255. Should do the trick. Prob a few weeks to get here but no rush. Injectors are sitting at mates house waiting to be picked up. Whole set up should be done in say 2 months . Uni exams atm putting the pressure on

Mini crate...Is it just a supercharger all the whole kit. Im sure you he could of packed it into a box and sent it, ive seen the M62's and they are not that big. I got my extractors delivered to my door and that box was pretty big (it had "sample product" written on the reciept and that I paid nothing for it. Gotta love Ebay)

And I would be suprised if they rang you, probably just send you a letter a few months later.....asses

It's just the supercharger he wanted to make sure it would be ok as it's coming here ont he ship so he went for the mini crate

From what i've read if it's $1000 or lower u dont pay any custom fee's (it's exactly $1000 that he put down) and it is just under the max limit australia post will carry so im not sure now it's been ages since i got something so big from overseas last time i got a laptop for $500 and they makde me pay $200 customs fee seems like it's changed

I have had the kit here for ages now just haven't been able to find a m62 supercharger and the ones on ebay usa want $400 more than what u get it for (if u read the fine print u have to pay them $400 if u dont send in a m64 to them that they can refirb and sell again)
