I've tried degreaser and it worked ok altho my engine was semi clean what i did use was a steam cleaner we got years ago it worked fantastic and made it a nice bright silver (never seen it so clean before) but after 30mins i had only cleaned a small section altho mine only took a small amount of water and had to take 5mins to make steam them 5min rest before i did it again but it worked great it pealed off like a wax layer that u couldnt see id say go hire one of them from coles or buy a steamer and use that it's clean and safe well besides burning urself or spraying it onto something electrical for awhile

That reminds me i need to get a stock VC so i can powdercoat it silver i can't seen to swap with anyone mine thats already powdercoated black silk with the ford logo made blue and the text and oval shined to a nice silver

The problem with the steam is that cause ur on that 1 section for a short while it can start creating water theone i use isn't the best and it spits out steam and hot water but i've never had problems throw some towels around the ditzy and everything else if ur worried.

I think I will do it after the turbo set up. Too much money going into it at the moment. I should have it ready, installed and tuned in 6-8 weeks now. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan.

(no one had posted here in a while and I like this thread )

Ive been waiting intently to be honest .

I went to a few exhaust shops today and none of them want to touch the hot piping. After I said i allready had the primaries, they at least took a look but werent interested. I even said I could get them measurments, sizes, angles everything...They just all had same response, just not enough room, too hard.

Guess it is from Ebay it is. Will have to snatch em up soon though, straight after I the BulkBuy on MS is ready to go.

Order of boosted
Mr. Mx6
Nin
Myself

I bet that is how it will go .

Mr Mx6, what did you use for piping...

I found someone who will chop up my crossmember for me for about $100 bucks cash. He is a bit dogdgy when it comes to being legit, but does good work . He got busted recently when he tried to register a track car, they caught on that he had welded the back end of a different s15 onto a rear end right off, guess it will just end up being a paddock basher....
