Actually im still working it all out but i think what im gonna do is go to bunnings and get some long rectangle pieces of wood (like a square dowel) and use that as the mockup for the supercharger frame so i can atleast see if it will work instead of taking measurments and getting the frame done then sent from usa to see if it will work.

I this this should work well as i have the tools to work with wood and if it's all perfect i can just get the wooden pieces replaced with metal and welded

Sounds like a plan . I really really hope it works out. You commited to the project, you have to see it through no matter what.

Hey are your driving your car at the moment with your new ATX? How is it if you are?

Yep i am i can tell u a few things that are different

The power after i got when i picked it up was HUGE the atx is about 2 secs slower than the MTX in the quarter mile.

I actually spun the wheels first time i jumped in it cause it had that much improvement

The shifting is smoother and quicker thanks to the shift kit and the torque converter gives it a nice power spike when u push the pedal to the floor

Being able to get the rpm's up to 3000 before launching is quite fun and helpful in the quarter mile

Over all it's a lot smoother and quiter its hard to feel the shifts as they are quicker and smoother and the car just keeps pulling and pulling without any hesitation between shifts and it has a lot more power and grunt.

Altho now i have the 17" xr8 rims i don't feel the kick back into the seats if i push it hard as i did with the lightweight 16" rims

The external oil cooler is great aswell the car doesn't feel sloppy if your been pushing hard (the main problem with the atx it uses the radiator to help cool the oil but the problem is the radiator can only cool down 250c and the oil is easily 300c (im not sure they are the exact totals but it's well known on the probe forums)

Short version
for $1,350 i got a harder, better, faster stronger tranny

Yer! 10 points for less drivetrain loss . Ive never driven a beefed up ATX before, only heard that there is a massive difference. Now just imagine it with the supercharger

The ATX is said to be on par with a MTX or about 0.2sec slower max

The ATX has better gear ratio and can apply the power nicely through the shifts and it will help traction some what (how much i have no idea???)

Yer the main thing that slows an ATX is the fact that it loses more power through fluid which the MTX doesnt have. With your ATX you have corrected that problem. And our MTX's are weak anyway its not like im not going to have to spend money on a new one 6 months from now. Im actually planning for when my box blows not if...

Nin your good at photoshopping make me a car team sticker . Main Aussie thread...It doesnt have to be the best, I was actually going to just type something in a good looking Microsoft Word Font

My project gets pushed back a bit. I just got my tax return today, but yesterday I found out that a number of suspension bushings in my car are rooted and my almost brand new $300/tyre Pirellis need replacing because of it. Oh and my Rocker cover gaskets are leaking into plug wells . Mechanic must of taken IM off and on alot when installing the ZE.

Good news is the guy I was getting my pipes off came through and took them off his car.

Suspension bushings, Tyres, Engine mounts, Rocker cover gaskets, IAC are things I need to fix now. Ive had this car for like almost 3 years and only changed 2 CV's and a resovoir and when im ready to boost it stuff starts falling apart .

Im not going to change the mounts and tyres untill after the turbo goes on. I really just want this set up finished.

*End cry baby sook time*
