it doesnt matter which fpr you use provided its 1:1

what matters is that you dont use anything else that might screw it up... like something that blocks the fuel return to artificially increase flow by raising pressure. bad idea.

Well Im guessing my FPR is 1:1 seeing as there are people who have used the stock fpr with Megasquirt but they werent using injectors as big as mine or going for power as big as me.

if its got a guage, you can find out by setting it to 40psi, and attaching 20psi of compressed air to the port on it. that should give you 60psi of rail pressure. if its much different you have a dud, if its much higher you have a rising rate. ie bad.

It doesnt have a gauge, a gauge needs to be attached inline with hose. Which is why I dont want to buy one seperate then get an aeromotive unit which has a built in gauge.

If my stock FPR can hack it, ill use it. If not ill just buy an aeromotive. Know where I can get cheaper then $200?

So far cheapest ive found is a Sard unit for like $180 with gauge. Looks like it is what ill be using.

Turbosmart for like $220 no gauge

Aeromotive like $240 no gauge.

Just picked up a Sard with gauge. Should be here by end of week. better be.

Im booked into exhaust shop for some rewelding of the flange, cross member modding and wastegate recirc then into tuning on the same day later the afternoon. Lets hope it gets done. Looks like these oil lines are going to cost me more than i thought.

Well my one is running.. after a few false starts with couplings blowing out .. it goes hard as..way better than a 75 shot of nitrous..
I have to get a better pcv I think as im blowing out a bit of oil from the valve covers. And the lower exhaust gaskets that came with the headers have let go already (Id replace them boys)… so that’s all I have to sort for now…vrrrrrrooommm tishhhhhh

Nice work man congrats, got any videos?.

Starion PCV valve apparently. Yer Ebay exhaust gaskets . Ive got just aftermarket ones getting delivered on monday to the shop, just need to pick it up. Rocker cover gaskets coming too going to replace them while injectors get changed, should make for a fun wednesday (not)

I got brackets and everything to mount the intercooler and I found a nice spot. problem is man there is no room to route the pipes. Ill still be finished in 9 days . race you to a dyno sheet .

Mr MX6, hows your pcv setup routed now? have you seen the two comprehensive threads on it? one is sicks in 2g, the other is mine in fe3, they are cross linked. those valves are dead straight forward, i seriously doubt that that is your issue.

http://www.mx6.com/forums/fe-dohc/18...rt-survey.html (Crankcase ventilation discussion and sort of survey)

there ya go, the other one is linked from it. i went to significant trouble to explain it to king in the other one.

no need for two valves inline, that will just reduce the effectiveness.

enjoy.

fred.

No chance mate . Nar good run for sure.

Man oh man do bills start piling up. just bought all my fittings for return and feed line. -10an line is a fat [mangina].

And looks like I wont be doing my own fuel pump, 4ws system is too much over my head. had 2 mechanics look at it, my mates boss and my dads mech, both said it is massive job. The neck goes straight over 4ws setup, no way to take it off without dropping alot. And now because of that it has pushed my tuning to tuesday, so tuesday I will be finished.

After the fuel pump kick in the nuts, and my injector cleaning, im now out of money. . Borrowing off my dad for tuning, he will have to wait for my next pay check. Oil fittings look hectic but .

Anyways im off to rip my interior out and wire up some gauges and get Megasquirt ready. Should be fun.
