it would be but it's ment to bolt up to the manual tranny on the right side of the engine of course that isn't the same bolt pattern as the atx so i need some custom brackets and probably the shaft rewelded for the new bracket.

just got the quote from RE Customs

just under $1000 for the SC shaft installed and modded to fit the atx
plus powdercoating all engine parts including fuel rail
Installing and powdercoating headers
Supplying and fitting walbro fuel pump
Supplying and installing 2 plumbed back bov's

Then it's $3000 for the basic motec ecu them supplying, dyno tuning and installing

Total about 3 days for it all minus ecu so i will most likely come back and get the ecu done another day

All i need now is to get a actual supercharger plus some headers off ebay and i can start

That is pretty damn good quote from a peformance shop. Nice work. Do you need to go with the Motec. EMS Stingers are about half the price and are great??? Mate just got one installed on S15 (the one im getting injectors off ) for $1700 installed, them supplying and tuned.

And yes that is a T3/T4.

i was excited too when mine arrive I had the turbo on my lapz for a few hours while I played games on pc, I felt good just to be near it. that one is exactly like mine except ur boost reference port seemz to be threaded already. see if ur turbo spins once you fit it on ur car @ 1000rpm idle.
mine spun as soon as I got the car started

i don't know if the EMS stinger will pass EPA

the Motec has the EPA seal of approval basiclly and if tuned right it will pass emissions test.

It's all this stupid locked system the EPA wants

Ahhh i see. NSW dont do annual EPA tests etc, so kinda lucky, though apparently we are heaps harder on road side tests.

And Copex it is like your Turbo from the outside. Insides are all Genuine Garrett and balanced in Australia. A company does them, kinda...genuine Garrett knockoffs . They stopped making these now (not sure why maybe Legal reasons), I actually didnt have the money to buy it, but because I knew this was a rare opportunity, I bought it and now have to suffer till my next fortnightly pay check.

Oh and its externally gated

See they took the other route make sure everything is locked so you won't get caught out on roadside tests and with the high price why would anyone want to replace the ecu after they spent so much money getting a ecu thats EPA approved and emissions tested.

You pay a bigger price but it also allows you to stop the cops or EPA getting u for the turbo/supercharger unless the cops a real asshole he can send u to a emissions testing but thats fine it's only AF readings not the full shed test i have to do where they see if the car don't go over the limit for emissions over a certain period of driving

Hey Fitzy where did you get those pipes? Is it from the Aus company on Ebay. They gave me a quote for just the down/up pipes no collectors (ive allready got SSAC extractors) $450 delivered. My plan B was using the SSAC collectors and going to a fabricator for the rest (show him a photo of it etc and just be like "make these"). Might work out cheaper than $450.

Then again ive been talking with JGTC mx-6 on 2nd gen FI forum and man has he downplayed SSAC extractors and the hot pipe design. Really does cut me (the knowledge that i might have to spend even more). I think plan B will be cheaper though.

well the pipes are that bad, they are from that aussie seller. There are a few welds that need going over cause they look a little thing, and the headers are not the best design, but will do the job

I saw JGTC's posts (i float around a bit lol), and while he is right, and you can do it better, for the price of these pipes there pretty good (gaskets they give you are reaaaaally crappy lol, the metal is unused philips AA battery metal lol) but thats a cheap fix to make them copper gaskets

The main prob with these is they seem slighty unfinished
just a touch up here and there and they will be fine
