Who remembers Billy T James? (click the thread anyway)

For those that don't know, he was a maori comedian who died fairly young in the 80's some time IIRC. I hadn't watched any of his stuff since I saw it on TV as a kid years ago.

Well worth a watch. You need a certain familiarity with popular maori culture to get some of it, but some of it is fairly universal :-)

Yeah, it's a kiwi thing, but more to the point, its an 80's thing, and most of you were only just born then :-p I'm an old bastard you know! ;-) (29)
