btw, a perfect excuse for another meet... or a big meet down the track:

2007 is the 20th anniversary of the mx6's release in australia, and the 10 year anniversary of the end of the 2nd gen.

the GD1 was introduced in october though.
...and the GE2 ended in june.... but meh!

When i get the SC working and most of my things done i wouldn't mind driving up to perth to see all you guys

Do you think the MR2 would make it up there russ?

I just did some work on the False floor the floor is mostly done need to trim some of the sides so the vinyl/leather can wrap over it and get the pill like shape done in the front part of the floor to show the sub and amp

I got the shelf holding the amp and sub done so i need to make a sub box for it and wrap the panels and it will almost be fully done.

False floor layed

False floor layed from diff angle
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y27...mage_00219.jpg

Battery relocation kit going here for the Supercharger

Top part of the False floor easily slides out for access to the spare wheel and PS2 (not pictured)

The design i made has worked well i wanted a nice subwoofer and amp with the spare still available still with room to put shopping in the back or lay something down with the back seats down.

The wheel well is for the subwoofer box and the floor is only raised up alil cause of the spare wheel

And its very solid as the floor is latched down do it wont shake or rattle but the whole thing can be removed in just on 1min for track days or 20seconds for the spare wheel and jack

When it's fully done it will look great i think the design works well for a daily driver.

I've got a 12" JL Audio Sub for the install most likely a jaycar amp not to sure yet.

Sorry for the long winded post and the few posts above

Melbourne to Perth is easy....We did the reverse in 3 days with over nighters in Eucla and Adelaide. Mind you there was Mum, Dad and myself taking turns with the driving.

I know it'll be a while still, but give us plenty of notice so we can organise a cruise!

Speaking of cruises, we have a long-weekend cruise down south in a few months to organise.

Current: 1995 GE2 626 SDX Hatch
Past: 1992 AX2 Telstar TX5 Ghia
