ooooh most of the time id agree. see, pretty much all the times ive had tofu its been used as a substitute for meat. and they try to make it taste and have the texture of meat...yada yada its a losing battle! plus its insulting to the good animals that died for my dinner.

but i do like it when its fried and used in a laksa that i get a lot of the time. tastes great there because its used as it should be.

thats what got me thinking about laksa before

OMG laksa stat!!

well its a soup base using coconut and broth of whatever you want in there, like chicken, beef, pork or just tofu, then has noodles and plenty of herbs and garnish and other goodies. every place seems to make them differently so you have to shop around to find a place you like

i dont like ones with too much of a seafood taste. especially places that have shrimp laksa made with shrimp juice. too shrimpy for my liking bleh

is laksa. is good
