1 year isnt that long really, when youre talking about breaking up with someone you love. his emotions are still pretty raw and any attempt from austerror to talk to him with just result in anger

what can you say, life blows, theres never a happy ending to anything really

but you cant let it drag you down, like i said friends move on.

bah he's being a lil [mangina] they broke up on goodish terms from what he said and he told him to go out with her and he's already been with quite afew girls since then.

1 year is plenty fine if he's given approval way before it and done alot of other girls already

Who knows he might have a gf right now

My back is so bloody sore.

As soon as I got home from work I gave the 6 a wash and started on a cut/polish, only did the bonnet and front quarter pannels to start with, then washed them again, cut again, then washed, then polished. Now I need to progressivley do the rest of the car.

Yeah my 'friend' was angry at me for NOT dating his ex!
Now he is angry for dating his ex.

I think he has some stuff to deal with. I did not steal her. She left him more than a year ago now.

Life does suck alot of the time. But I learnt a long time ago that getting angry over this sort of thing helps no one.

I did nothing wrong. Its not my problem. If he gets over it then that is great. But I think he is using me as an excuse to stay angry at his life. Rather than dealing with whatever issue he has and moving on.

In the mean time I need to wash my car and do a proper polish job too. I might do that tomorrow after work.

My job is SO boring at the moment! Software testing is NOT FTW!

All I am doing is writing test cases.

I want to buy a Cosmo. I have done some research and before now I had no idea what they were. They sound/look awesome.

So should I sell my MX6 and get a loan to buy a Cosmo?

a cosmo as a second car...maybe.

remember youre going to need a skilled workshop to work on a 20b, though you can also buy 13b versions of the cosmo (though cmon, who wants diet cosmos)

i cant think of any off the top of my head though that says nothing as ive never owned a rotary and have never gone looking for one

i wonder if darkslayer had his engine rebuilt when he bought the car? see its peoples driving habits that destroy the engines. the business execs that would have originally owned the car most likely didnt warm the car up in the morning....which prematurely wears out the engine. or cool it down when theyve stopped driving...which prematurely wears out the turbos.

i love them too, but id say it would have to be as a second car. DS uses it as a daily driver though he must have another car?

nah ive got a second car as a daily (which is getting a new clutch atm)

cosmos are great cars but personally i wouldnt do much engine work myself cos i dont know enough about them to know what to do properly
theres a few on ebay for sale over east for around the 12k mark. they need some work and prbly a rebuild but its worth it
its the best feeling driving the cosmo. ive been in a mint condition lexus soarer GT limited (the v8) and it was a damn nice car but not as good as the cosmo

btw i wish i had ur prblm with the mate and gf thing. i seem to be having a dry patch

I checked carpoint and they have 3 for sale over here. I know a few people that have highly modded RX7s, so finding skilled people to work on it would not be too hard. I think I will reduce my current debt first! Credit card and a small loan for my TV.

until recently I was also having a 'dry patch'. 2006 no action at all for me. nothing for most of 2005 too.

Toyota's are lame (Sorry Russ).

Was fitting a LED light into the dome light of my brother's Camry last night. The positive contact is 2mm from the bare metal roof. You can guess where this is going...

Globe slips out of fingers, hits roof and positive contact with a spark, blows dome fuse.

Strangely enough the central locking relies on that fuse to operate.

You would think there would be some form of insulation when the 12v + contact is so close to the earth surface.

very true, positive ends usually are pretty well insulated. its standard safety for any electrical hardware

i found that was quite necessary on all my homemade connections under the dashboard. as i fiddle around under there, theres usually a few random sparks i think ive duct taped most of them up
