haha.. havent we done the Vegetarian conversation?? As Im sure most of you are aware by now Im vegetarian.. but its not becuase I think Animals have souls or anything like that I just think its gross.

what I think is funny is when you sit around with a group of people and you get onto the whole meat/vegetarian conversation and everyones talking about whats in a sauage or maybe more to the point whats NOT in a sauage and they are all like.. yuk.. thats gross.. etc etc and then im just asking mor eand more questions and everyones getting over it faster and faster... and getting more put off sauages... and then people actually ask.. so why are you a vegetarian... happens... everytime...... its weird.

Same deal as you - a lot of meat I just find gross. But sometimes the poor four-legged things just taste so good... Depends on my mood but real dripping red meat is right out, I've never been able to eat that stuff. I used to love the odd Hungry Jacks' burger though, but lately I'm right off all meat - vegie soy meat is lovely! Don't miss meat at all....

I agree with you though - people freak when they hear you're a vegetarian. What's the big deal?

Haha, I know what you mean! Maybe it's all the meat-guilt my vegetarian sisters put me through when we were kids. That and all the brochures and articles from Animal Liberation about slaughter-houses my sisters gave me.... Vegie meat comes without that guilt but about 5 times the calories... Vegie snags with herbs and garlic are gorgeous though. I really don't see how not eating meat is a big deal though....

Fruit and vegies are so healthy, especially the organic stuff (which tastes way better anyway). Problem is though, where I work in Safeway, the prices are inflated to a huge degree. For a lot of people, it's way cheaper to buy processed food in cans with added chemicals and preservatives, and snack food. It's bloody ridiculous....
