bought a in-car dvd player today. cost me about $308 delivered too. plays everything from retails cds and dvds to cd-r, cd-rw, dvd -r, dvd +r, dvd +rw, mp3. should be really good.
theres a 5.7" LCD screen that i could get for about the same price but i dont really want a screen in my car atm :P

its some no-name brand from Japan. apparently theyre actually quite well known over there. the company im buying it from is based in Hong Kong so they get it really cheap.

as for the screen, im mainly getting it so i can play audio stuff like MP3 dvds and such :P

Congrats Chicky!

Hey, how did everyone do on their exams? We've had at least an exam a week in the (Cisco) CCNA component of my electronics course, but I fell behind a bit in the last month. Ended up doing a skills test prac, 4 exams and the final in one week! Bloody hard work but I passed them all.

Aw, a rest at last; it's been go go go since April....

My MX6 experience is more a rolling restoration than everyday transport...

On a completely different note...

Why do people pull their windscreen wipers up when they park the car? It is really, really common in asian countries, but I never asked anyone. Oh, and common with IT students at QUT as well....
