Rifle-barrel in our mouth, a toe lightly on the trigger. Ready....1...2....3. That might be more effective....

My MX6 experience is more a rolling restoration than everyday transport...

Hmm hmm. I remember back in back in 2004, when Chickebabe & I fell in love for the first time. Our eyes met across the sneeze shield of Sizzlers in Hobart. It was then that i realized, "They're out of potato skins again, dammit!". Also that this was the girl of my dreams.
We let the moment take us away, she nibbled gently on my french bread while I pulled my large coke, actually this was my 4th Coke, I was feeling a little bloated but I wanted to get my $1.50's worth.
I knew the night was going to be special by the way she pretended that me dropping my extra rare 500gram rump steak in her lap didn't worry her. In fact, right then, for a moment I could see she was contemplating becoming a carnivore...for me.
I'd have to be very careful of my meat and where I put it for now on.
After several more steaks the conversation changed to things more romantic....dessert. Good turned to excellent, as we walked out, I noticed 3 families had left without taking their mints with them. What a score.
We talked later in the carpark, she pretended to like cars but I could tell she was just trying to be nice, she owned a 2nd gen after all. Hours, minutes...maybe even seconds passed as we gazed into each others eyes, then, suddenly...it was over. Almost as fast as it started, we were about to seperate, maybe for ever.
The 2 litres of soft serve icecream I had snuck out with was starting to melt in my shorts pocket. It was getting harder to maintain the cool, sexy race car driver image thing I had happening. I really should have worn my good Stubbies tonight, but how was I to know that this angels path and mine would cross, all be it briefly(apparently she needed to wash her hair) on that cold, wet & dreary summers night in Hobart.
My life would never be the same, I was starting to think that the icecream may have been doing some serious damage in my testicular region.
She drove off in a cloud of blue/black/brownie type smoke, the 2nd gen rattling along to the rhythmical sound of the crickets, steam rising from her bonnet like mist over a moonlite pond. After the clattering, clanging sound of the v6 subsided, I was left alone in the carpark. I stepped around the puddle of oil/coolant/atx fluid and, head held low, I wandered over to the Crustimobile.
My life had been touched by this southern beauty, nothing would ever be the same.
Then, in the back of my mind, I heard a faint voice whispering,
"maybe they've brought out more potato skins by now."
They had! That night will always be in my heart.

There you go, read that at your funeral.
