Might be worth picking up a heatsink from Jaycar and a 12v fan, may look ghetto though. Considering the size, a 3.5" HDD cooler might work well.

its only when its sitting in the car during the day so a cooler wouldnt really do that much

It depends what your doing if your got mp3's playing in something like frodoplayer u will notice your using quite alot of the CPU power so the eee pc will get hotter than normal what you should do what dave suggested get a fan (you can get a usb fan and just have that circulating air around the pc and cabin will help the unit stay cooler these units do get quite hot after a while

I love the shape of the Furai its got a nice wide stance and is totally different than anything on i've seen and lets face it alot of the cars now adays including ferrari have the same curves and shapes they look good but they don't go all out and try something different like the Furai

well, it seems my uni might be trying to screw me over again...

emailed my selections for research project off on sunday night, got a autoemail saying it had been delivered, ok, should be good.

get an email when i get home from work today, send last night, saying that all selections must be in by close of bussiness today. Cept i havnt heard bugger all back from them, so i emailed again to check if they got it, and if they say they havnt, or that they wanted it in person they are going to have a world of hurt unleashed on them, how are any of us ment to drop it off, when we all work during the day atm with our vac work? More importantly, i have a mate who is doing a flyin fly out job for his experiance, and he has no net nor phone access when hes out there, and hes not back for another few days yet, what is he ment to do?

If your in WA, Curtin Engineering, FTMFL

Yep that is one of the reasons why I quit IT at the ANU. Stupid inflexible policies like that.

I always worked when I was at uni and I always talked to my department about when I can hand stuff in. In every case it was a 'we don't care you fail' answer.

I did some psychology then and they were the opposite. I explained that I worked and they said 'no problem!'.

IT/Engineering faculties everywhere need to learn that without students they would be out of jobs. It also does not hurt to be nice, people are not computers.

The best thing ever was when the assignment submit server went down. You got ZERO if that hapened. Their argument was you should plan for the server to go down and submit early.

I was young and had no idea back then. If I was there now, yeah I would hurt them.... a lot.

hmm i was at ECU and i never had any issues with handing in an assignment or selection a bit late as long as i told them beforehand that it would be a day or two late

hrmmm I cant say I've experience that with the ANU engineering/IT people, I've got extensions a few times because I'm not able to hand stuff in due to other comitments - maybe they have changed since you were there aus.

You would think that they would be more flexiable but with IT trainers/teachers i've noticed a big chunk of them uptight or just want it done on their time.

Which is what mostly happen your gotta get it handed in and done on their time schedule so they don't have to do any extra work or work longer than they normally do

Still bloody [shizzle]ty when you think ur the student paying to learn they should be more flexiable in situations like said above.

Also all u guys that download new episodes of your fav tv show here is a list of tv shows coming back now that the writers strike is over
