Robbie Williams is a sensational performer ... a bit of a lost cause though.

MGF are ok - and who doesn't like John Farnham?

Who's Pete Murray?

Well, I tried that, but it seems that only works in the Benny Hill universe - and only if they're bald, and I'm wearing a dirty mac, beret and glasses at the time. Oh, and if "Yackity Sax" is playing in the background.

Bah, this is always hard. Lyrics are important to me as is the feeling evoked by listening to the music. I think the only stuff I don't really like is Country music, but even then there are execptions. I like dance music, and I get a good giggle out of J-pop (Shonen Knife, most of the tracks you hear in Dance Dance Revolution and yes, I do play that game as can be vouched by at least one member of mx6.com ). I think the rule is that for me to really like something, I need to be either moved to sing along and dance, or moved to sit still and listen.

My playlist at the moment includes.. Depeche Mode, The Cure, atb, Moby, William Orbit, Mike Oldfield, Kevin Braheny & Tim Clark, Thomas Dolby, Kraftwerk, Iris, Faith No More, Enya, The Vandals, They Might Be Giants, Chemical Brothers, Gary Numan, The Crystal Method, The Prodigy, Yello, New Order, Weezer, The Ramones, Bill Douglas, Hybrid, Millencolin, Pet Shop Boys, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Placebo, Split Enz, The Church, and far too many others to list.

Sorry about the absence of John Farnham. Can't be helped - I don't own any. But yes, he is an icon, a legend and an all round top sort of blokey bloke!

I'll go along with The Cure, New Order, FNM, The Ramones...(BTW, isn't Gary Numan dead?). You can keep the rest. Add to it Primus, Siouxie & the Banshees, Guttermouth, Jughead's Revenge, AFI, RATM, Madness, thE sEx piSToLs(Sid's not dead, he's holidaying in the Bahamas), The Specials, The Beastie Boyz, Grinspoon, Rob/White Zombie, Hoodoo Gurus, & early Offspring.

EDIT*
LOL, don't you think Jimmy Barnes has a somewhat strong Scottish accent?
I wouldn't swerve to miss either of them to be honest.

Nah I didn't type up those pickup lines, I wouldn't use something so corny, you just go up and talk to the girl, ideally when she is doing something you can identify with or build a conversion on.

Hmm music, I'd say Living End, Powderfinger, Metallica, Delta Goodrem, Pink, Classical, Limp Bizkit (only a few of em), Alex Lloyd, John Mayer, Offspring, U2, Oasis, Creed, Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, , FNM, Nickelback + heaps more....so basically rock music.

like,
"So, that is a nice shiney pole you have there."
"Doesn't the blood rush to your head when you hang upside down like that?"
"It's cold in here and I've got my clothes on, I bet you're freezing"
"How can I not touch you? You're on my lap."
