The Biotech degree is majoring Medical Genetic Engineering. Which is a massive industry at the moment... ranging from forensics to gene cloning. Mix that with a software engineering degree and I'm perfectly placed to write software for companies working in the gene area, such as the human genome project etc. For which there currently is little to no one who is qualified enough to write databases, or web-based search engines, or software for medical equipment to test DNA samples etc.

Or if all else fails, I could just be a normal Scientist or researcher.... or join the Army fulltime.

So, yea, thats it in short

Darkslayer - They really don't go together that well... But are both pretty interesting areas. When I get bored of writing an assembly prog (like RIGHT NOW!) I can go work on mapping a piece of DNA for another. So, yea... its not too bad

(ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! HARDCORE COMPUTER TALK IN THIS POST!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!)

hehehe umm.. well. ive got a Althon 2800+ Barton with 1gb pc3200 ddr and a geforce FX5600 so it runs fine on mine

my comp used to be a AMD Duron 850 with 512mg SDram with a geforce 4 MX440 and that ran SOF2 ok but i couldnt have the settings up too high otherwise it starting jerking something cronic.
ur comp will prbly run it with all the settings on the lowest but it wont look to special. u can buy a system like my previous setup (the duron) for about $300-$400 no worries now.
im not too sure wat the official specs are for SOF2 as they arent written anywhere in the manual or on the website but would be something around my duron system, maybe a bit lower

I haven't posted in the this section ad the Pc talk has got me right now thinking

Opinions please
I just got a new Cannon 300D SLR digital camera = good stuff - I didn't buy it so $1500 who cares. Good pictures too

So I've got my two Pc's speced below

1.8- 130GB- 1GRAM - DVD SONY BURNER (12.3 months old EAT ME) VIVO 128MB card (allow me 12.6 months old) No sounds card - suggestions only on board 17inch monitor etc all he others extra DVD player, on my 3rd Keyboard ???? heavy hands
Cable internert - I'm using it now

2nd Pc sitting in my room behidn me doing nothing for last oh 6months
3.0 GZ or 3.2 can't remember . 256MB some spuer graphics brand new at the time from leadtek - really good - I've only watched Porn on it Plus Digital souind Creatvie car audiogy 2 or something all I know right now is it has 5.1 out put etc. 19 inch flat screan phillips Oh and my Hp 2410 scan copier fax photo coffee maker.

Now add to it you see I have a delema

I can leave it and stay in my current 3 rooms I use in my parents house not including the garage. Or I can
Moveto my new underground place where I can entertain people in my own large room but still living with parents , plus own shower etc.
but that means I have to move my 6.1 sourround ( old man keeps the 7.1 5000W set-up ) Keep my 25inch TV DVD playersss I have 2 and my 3 VCR's ( every Tv has both in my hosue because we are stupid and mad and give away aroudn old stuff to other family memebers. all I get is a hand my down station wagon and Mx-6

Or Do I make a big move and move out - been thinking with all this talk

go back to studying and stay where I cam

Or study work and stay right where I am and just keep people away.

Or do I just sell everything spend it on the mx-6.

All opinions wanted
as Right now My Pc room has 3500 Video tapes on shelves about to break, Sparco seat, 4piston Rx-7 brake set-up, 6.1 set-up no in full use 4 sub woofers - again don't ask. Bad smells, Old swinsuit callenders from 2000 ??? still up DVD drive from some computer ??? might throw it under a car ??? oh a sony VCR that needs to be thrown at SONY shop
More bad smells , 2 tunrtables ??? Dj equipment
Plus more boxes with electrical cables speaker wire Pc cables etc from all my littler other jobs or study work etc Plus a whole lot of borrwoed goods
