Lol, only just saw this thread!!! If ya offering I'll make the trip. hehehehehehe :P
Yeah I'm in Melbourne so I've been thinking about coming down on the Spirit with my car and going for a cruise around tassie. Most of my extended family live down there (i used to too, like when I was 1 or 2) so might drop in and say hi! What part of tassie do ya live in?
For sure come down. Ill show ya round..
Im from Hobart!
Cool, my dad's parents live there (rest of the family in launceston and elsewhere). Now there's more reason to come down, i'll have to speak with you later about it so I come down when ya free!!! :P

Nah, I'm one of the soppy types that'll hold the door open, etc, hence I'm willing to meet someone rather than then have to come to me. :P
Ok then, back on topic:
Yeah I didn't get to see the original photo so can ya post it again! I recently put mesh in too and wonder how ur's turned out.
EDIT: Not sure when I'm planning to come down yet. Maybe during the school holidays (I work in a primary school and uni has a break at this time too) or maybe during the mid year holidays, not sure yet.
Ok well first things first... I will repost the photos of the mesh so those of you who havent seen it can... but at the moment to imagine uploading thing isnt working... I will trya nd do it again tomorrow or later tonight... or if you cant wait...lol add me to your msn and i will send it too you... miffy_1@hotmail.com
Ahh.. a real guy.. opening doors etc... theres none of them around.. maybe i should be considering this cruise up the coast.. hehe
Dragonstar: Yeah around uni break time would be good...
How long you down for Cromax?? What else you doing while down?? Bring the 6 down?
For your information Chickie, the only time a guy will open the door for you will be so that he gets laid - if he denies the truth he's either lying, or out of touch with reality :P
--------------
We're flying down ... we're hiring a couple of cars down there
After all, we are going down there purely to fill up our cellars :P
EDIT: Oh, me and a few mates are going to be down there for about 3 days ... I've mapped it all out (but then I'm always over organised for everything :P ... which is good 'cos no one else is). I've always wanted to go to tassie for a tour/cruise. Start at Launceston/Davenport and go all around ...
... may be a good idea?
We could camp/stay in motels (preferrably the latter) ... take lots of alcohol and cruise around in our cars ... strike that - reverse it ... you know what i mean anyway (i hope)
Someone should make an interest post ... and open it to non-mx6 drivers too!

Yes, Tassie does have some nice roads ... no where near as nice as home ... the Adelaide Hills are my homeland - and I shall continue to rip up bitumen over there and scare off the locals as I take windy point road at 120+ ... even though last time I went over it was evident I'm out of practise ... however 16 years of riding my push bike as a kid all over the place through Belair, up to Stirling, down to Greenhills etc gave me a good map ... the main reason for riding though was for the fire tracks :P
I really miss it thinking about it now
Anyway it's still fun, and the good thing is they can't clock you in the hills over there, it's way to windy Plus, familiar roads are always more fun than strange ones :P
