I need a stock vj11, or need to know if i can rebuild mine

I need a factory VJ11 turbo in good working condition as soon as anyone can contact me. I need it not to smoke. And shipped ASAP to 28681, North Carolina.

If no one has one to offer, I have 2 stock turbos, both with shaft play but wheels seem to be in good condition. I have rebuilt turbos but have heard that these are useless to rebuild. If anyone has any insight please let me know as soon as possible. Once my blown turbo problem is fixed I am getting rid of the car and I'm trying to spend as little money as possible.

For those who have insight, or a turbo please contact me by email, [email protected] or by my cell 828-640-4803. Text or call me. I need something as soon as possible! Thanks guys!

There are many threads on this subject and even some guys on here that will rebuild your turbo for you, if they are still around. Since you are selling the car I guess you don't want to hear about any upgrades that would probably end up costing about the same since you are rebuilding the turbo anyway.
You can also check in the for sale section for used turbos but be careful because not everyone is reputable. So far I have had good luck with the guys I have chosen to do business with.

I don't see why they would be useless to rebuild. IHI is a reputable turbo company making turbos that are used on many factory cars such as subaru

The t-bird upgrade isn't something I want to do. I want it back completely stock because in trading the car, I just wanted to make sure that by rebuilding it, I wasn't wasting my time. I've ordered the rebuilt kit, now I'm having a problem getting the exhaust housing separated from the center section.

Do you have a vice? I think I used a impact wrench and lube on mine. That was a long time ago though.

I doubt you'll read this but a dead blow hammer probably won't work. In my experience, a regular hammer carefully placed, struck evenly, works the best. Just keep an eye on the compressor wheel as it's damaged easiest compared to the turbine wheel. If the compressor wheel seizes, stop and go to the other side. Heat probably won't work as cast iron expands with heat. It might help a little but....the best thing is to strike it off with a regular hammer.
