Flywheel brands and quality?

I found a website called UltraRev.com Rev Yourself To The Future Of Performance Tuning With The Latest Parts And Accessories and they have several light performance flywheels for our mx6, 626, and probes. I know most use Fidanza but Spec, Clutchmasters and Aasco ive seen some have used. Which ones do you guys reccommend the most. Thanx for any input so I cna choose one next week to order.

Honestly, i wasn't aware that anything other than Fidanza was available for these cars.

“One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that if you drive into London at 6am, half of the cars on the roads are Porsches and Astons. Whereas if you go in at ten to nine, they’re all Renaults. Simple solution, then. You want a nice car? Get up earlier and do more work.”

I was aware about the others, but I have a Fidanza in mine and it came from UltraRev.

I chose Fidanza mainly as other people were using them and it was more of a known quantity. I am sure the other ones are ok, its just I didnt know much about them.

im pretty sure the spec is just a re-badged fidanza. the others might be as well. but ive always stuck with the fidanza name myself.

I remember someone here had some Aasco sticker on their car or used one in their build. I want to say it was Gavin but Im not sure. They did SCCA too. I may just get the Fidanza anyway. LOL

rr-racing sold the aasco's for a short bit after the fidanza's, then went to cm. For a 2g the aasco is different than the fidanza, but the fidanza replacement disc can work, just some of the finishing on the fw in non-machined areas are way different. Aasco supposedly makes the oem fw for a mazdaspeed car, just can't remember which one, either the 3/6 or the msp...

My boosted 2g has an aasco, but all my others are fidanza ( I think 3 others I have, but 1 not installed yet), and haven't had a problem with any of them yet, except a used fidanza I got the starter ring came loose, but not so sure it wasn't the seller doing something to it...
