Lightweight flywheel

Fidanza has a light weight flywheel for the 1g mx6. Anyone used or using one? Any comments on them in general. Worth the money? Worth the performance gains?

I have a Fidanza flywheel on my 88mx6 GT, it's a bit different to drive with (same engagement) but the car can coast at low RPMs without stalling, hard to tell the performance gains when everything went on the car at the same time.
I also have 3 factory flywheels that I run on my other f2t's all 3 have 10-12lb of metal machined out of the back side, they aren't as light as the Fidanza flywheel but the work cost 120$ each including resurfacing.
I had the factory flywheels machined a couple years after I bought the Fidanza and after driving with the fidanza, stock and lightened flywheels I wouldn't have spent 600$ on the fidanza and just had another factory flywheel lightened and invested the other 480$ elsewhere on the car.

If you can get a fidanza for a good price then it's worth it but otherwise I find the cost very high for the 10hp gain across the power band Fidanza claims.

Garage
Lots of guys had them in the past.
For me it worked great, and felt much like stock.

I put one in my 90 GT since I was installing a clutch kit. Doesn't feel any different, other than if you crawling along slow. At 50 MPH I feel like it's lugging the motor, but probably not. I just don't use 5th gear unless I'm going over about 5o or 60 MPH. I think I paid a little under $400 for mine. I'm happy with the purchase...YMMV !

Two more hours of this play, somebody shoot me!
