Distributor Cap Testing

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to test a distributor cap for a V6 1994?

What should the resistance be from the coil tower to the centre pin? (see picture)

I am reading 7.7K Ohm

Each position around the cap reads about 1 Ohm

Thanks

I am struggling with no spark, HELP.

I have replaced the coil [see image 17], which I will post a how-to later when I get the car running.

The only thing left it appears is [13] "Stator Assembly"..

Has anyone else got some ideas on testing it?

Thanks
