Wire the pos and negative coming off the halo into the side marker lights....NOT BLINKERS! or you can buy a fog light wiring kit and some of them came with hook UPS off of eBay for the halo look carefully. Runs about 20 for the kit or maybe 5 for some small lengths of wire and connectors.

I am starting to get a laundry list of stuff done to my car. Does that make it fast? No! Does that mean i spent too much money on a toy? Maybe. Do i have fun every time i jump in my car and drive? Hell yes.

Also you should assume to get the concealments available for them - with clear covers; the dust/dampness intrusion would be greatly alleviated. They would still suck to aim. Again, projector versions may work better, still use the covers IMHO.

Lastly, I now have J-specs; I've had them a link weeks, with HID in the low beam. VAST development. They came with the HID, so I can't say how important that is or is not - my guess is that they are great with halogen too. The high beams are fantastic, and they are still halogen. I wish I'd never wasted any money on anything else and had gotten E or J specs right off the bat.

kelvis, why do you keep putting that link at the bottom of your posts? You also did the same as user rousan, which I banned. I suggest you stop adding that link to your posts if you want to stay on this site.

I just bought some last tuesday (9/22) for $177 but i try to look at where i bought them and they arent there any where. So just get on the internet everyday you can and look for them because they go really fast, and it can get shipped to you mostly anywhere you just have to pay the shipping fee

Question

Too bad that in New Zealand, retrofitting LED or HID into old-school halogen headlamps is illegal. I can understand the beam pattern argument but if it is put in projector-type headlights, it should be alright I think. I would rather have the government make this professional-installer/government-certified item as you do with more complex mods, so they work properly in public roads for safety reasons. Rather than blanket ban like currently. That way, car enthusiasts and the public both win.

By the way, anyone knows what type of bulb it is for the J-Spec fog lights? I have no idea what they are, and they shine yellow too. PM me, the help is greatly appreciated.
