Anyone have 2nd V6 MX6/Probe GT running off MegaSquirt 3.57

I was finally able to test the unit and I can only get car to crank but doesn't startup.

The alert "Not RPM synced" appears in TunerStudio, so is that normal before the car starts?

I soldered the ignition PINs as per DIYAUTO how to page:
Function Color MS2 V3.57
Crankshaft position signal Green Pin 24 (IGN center wire)
Crankshaft position return Blue Ground (IGN shield)
Camshaft position sensor Pink DB15 pin 7
Ignition module Yellow / Black Pin 36

The 1993 Mazda/Probe ECU pinouts state the follow for those color wires:
Green = Cylinder Identification (CID) Signal
Blue = Crankshaft Position (CKP) Signal
Pink or Blue/Pink = G Signal
Yellow/Black or Blue/Orange = Distributor Ignition (DI)

NOTE: What is NE1 Signal (Light Green/Orange) in the OEM ECU? It seems that on a MS1 v2.2 you would use that for Crank position signal? I had it on that on MS1, so changed to the above for MS2 3.57.

I do, either your trigger wheel settings are incorrect, the VR sensor trimpots need adjusting or something else is amiss. got a cranking log?

I just saw your post, so how is your crank and cam signals wired?

1. I’m seeing contradictory info for the cam and crank wiring...some are saying CAM = CID on ECU pin, but my log only gets cam signal with G SIGNAL ECU pi

2. Is the crank signal MS PIN 24 to CKP ECU pin or CID pin?

3. My crank sensor might be dead, so would you know how to wire it up as hall? I’ll get a new crank sensor once I get car started up on at least a hall

1. according to my notes VR sensor goes to pin 24 (C246-17 green wire IIRC)
2. see above, VR (crank) goes to pin 24 which is CID
3. dont make it harder for yourself by building a new pickup system, the VR one works well, replace it and try it first!

do you have a cranking log? does it show rpm when cranking?
sorry for the delay in replying im not on here very often.

No worries, thanks for the reply!

Ok, so I got the VR wired but crank log shows nothing.

The metal shield around MS PIN 24 wire goes to where? Is that the blue ECU C256-16?

Also, what’s the easiest way to test if the MS VR conditioner is working or not?

BTW, what are you MX6 specs and could you post your MSQ?
