Here's the kicker, the owner says it needs new struts. I popped the hood to inspect, this [fizzle]er has front AAS struts!! It doesn't have the control box on the interior, so I am intrigued to say the least.

I didn't check the rear for strut bar or AAS motors, it rode decent, the 4ws didn't work and turbo was basically blown...but damn it was a steal. The interior was damn near perfect and still had the stock mazda premium radio with sub and EQ
w/ 248 k miles on it i would have to say that those shocks were put in there after the dealer lot. The 4ws 626 AND mx6 don't have the factory loom for the aas, which you wouldn't want with that many miles anyway. If there is an autozone near you pm me and i will hook you up with some free strutts. Just replace the front shocks with some cheap ones.

So to clarify no 4ws car was ever produced w 4ws. at least in the USA to cover my ass. And ftw you can put any 626 or mx6 strut in the rear don't worry about the 4ws part. many threads on that.

Hit me up if you need more specific info, dealer part printouts, rare oem 4ws parts, and other discontinued or never available parts.

Not quite sure yet, but yea, I'm afraid the tank or atleast the filler tube (or, if I'm damn lucky, one of the vent tubes) is a goner...

I dont even want to think about how expensive a new tank is in Norway, or if its even possible to get a new one still...

YES you CAN get new tanks from the dealer at least here in what's left of the USA. they are about $660 us bones though. That's nearly equal to the value of your car with a leaky tank.

However i have a solution for you. I purchased a NEW tank a few years back, sold it to a friend in FL who crashed his 4ws 626 and parted it out. I bought the tank back off him for the same price i sold it for since he put two new fuel pumps in it. It has been at my parents house ever since 'bout a year now. Yes it is taped off so no crap gets in there.

If anyone is interested in a 4ws gas tank, let me know. I have it. I'll ship it anywhere even to Norway to help out my 4ws brother from another mother. I don't own my 4ws anymore, and my roommate who does owes me over $500 bones so he won't be able to get the tank off me w that debt looming, even if the life of my old car depended on it.

the 88 didn't have the rear strut bar, and seems that the passenger front strut is aas but without the motor LOL...seems aftermarket thought.

I just have to figure out wtf this buzzing noise is that comes on occasionally when I start the car. It's not the power antenna...could it be the abs pump?

I have the same noise occasionally right after startup, I just figured it came from the ABS pump
