Does anyone have a accurate count of how many MX6/626's came with 4ws, and exactly what years? I have searched but have found several differant figures....

~1200 between the 88 626 and 89 MX6.

As for breaking those 2 down individually.... nobody seems to know.

Best number I read was 1236 in North America for 1989. Oz has bushels and bushels. More than 300, anyway. From what they say in the Oz area, more 4WS than GTs.

ICBC wouldn't let you register as collector car anyway unless you have wheels that are +-1 year or reproductions that are 1989-correct. Must also have original ride height, original (within one year) radio (say goodbye to CD, find yerself an original cassette deck). Can't drive it to work or school, either.

Many other restrictions.

Educate yourself here

I do have the original 4WS rims with all centre caps, original springs are still in it, along with original deck with equalizer

I've read it over, the only think i have to do is take off the "future parts car donor" pick a part bumper sticker lol

I wonder what the number is for my gem...the 88 626 4ws. I know they were all noble white, auto, no roof, power windows and blue interior.

Wholly s.hit dude where did you get a convertible 626 w 4ws??????

That's got to be a one of kind unicorn right there. Or just one in 1500.

Most dealers got one or two 626s with 4ws in 88 all just the same flavor as your/ mine. But after two years some cars were still on the lot and sold at a discount rather than a premium. It was hard to convince the average joe that 4k extra will make a midsized sedan all that more likely to retain its value.
