What is it really worth???

I have a 1989 mazda mx6 gt 4WS. The light does not come on and the 4WS isnt working. The car is in good condition has moderate dings and dents a crack in the windsheild. The car runs great only has about 112000 miles on it. Power everything, Sunroof, leather the whole 9.
I have
transmission
2 4ws back racks
both doors and door panels
electronic speedometer
6 stock rims
a trunk lid
tokico blue
driver side fender
and a bunch of other odds and ends
The tires, radiator, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, thrmostat, clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder are all new.

It's worth enough to get your 4ws fixed, that's for sure. You have a very rare combo. Get the 4ws fixed and drive the hell out of it

Keep it, those problems should be fixable easily enough, and considering you have spare rear racks, you are better off than most of us with non-working 4WS

If I were to sell it. What would it be worth with fully functional 4WS and what would it be worth with the 4WS locked in place.

Any ideas on what that issue could be. The fact that the 4WS light it does not work. Recently the 4WS light flashed 7 times which is saying the PS fluid is low but once i put that in there it does not work and the light does not turn on or flash. I have been reading on here that it is the unit under the passenger seat that is causing all of this what do you gentlemen think.

I actually believe you're supposed to use ATF in the system...I could be wrong though.

I'll need to check the FSM though.

it has more value to us on the forum being a 4WS. but when it comes to pricing, it might add a few hundred to the value. it really doesnt make that big of a difference.

$3k. Take $2500 if someone offers it.

I'd probably offer $2000 because it's well.... a 22-23 year old car.

“One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that if you drive into London at 6am, half of the cars on the roads are Porsches and Astons. Whereas if you go in at ten to nine, they’re all Renaults. Simple solution, then. You want a nice car? Get up earlier and do more work.”

Where is the car located? It's been in Philly...is that where it's at now? You think the car would make a trip back to Washington State?

Not sure...I asked the wife if she wanted to fly out to see her best friend in Harrisburg and drive back. She gave this look and asked why. I told her about it and she it looked nice...

Not sure if we could take all of the parts...most of them probably though. I'll have to see how "things" are here on my end before I attempt to commit...but do want it though. Just a matter of room.

Zach, how about you drive out there, and make a pit stop in San Diego and Indianapolis for me.
