my friend had him on his 6... dont remember if they were noisy or not but they needed to be replaced pretty damn quick. I do agree with you though the tread pattern does look nice.

i cannot sing enough praises about these tires.

the fuzion ZRI i have are the best tires i've owned... comparing to kuhmos, toyos, yokohamas, falken ziex's etc...

the zri offered great dry traction, and excellent control in the twisties... giving you plenty of room and warning before they "let go" (unlike the kuhmos, which grip, then suddenly stop gripping... though the limits of both tires are very high, i find the ecsta supras give too little room for error at the limits)

What REALLY got me was the wet traction... in the wet - these tires were every bit as good as the aquatreads i've had on another car.

expect to get about 30k out of them though.

beyond that - its the best tire i've had, and i've had many. As long as they make them, i am a fuzion zri guy from now on.

My friend's family just got 3 sets of these for all their cars, neat thing about them is they have a little lip thing on the tire that sticks out to help prevent curbing or something, atleast thats what my friend says could easily be bs though. the tread does look pretty.

I have the fuzion zr1 tires. They have good grip and low road noise. I got them at a good price too. I haven't really had anything else to compare them to as these are the first tires I've put on my 17" rims. They've been good so far so check them out.

clean and fast

I am with Goatcrapp on this one.

I love my Fuzion ZRI tires, have em in 215/40/17 since 2006 for my Mazda MX6(s). What particularly stood out was when my front tires were submersed in a deep puddle when at a red light, yet they still didn't slip out when I came off the line.

Excellent dry traction, great in the rain. Now on the third driving season (I store in the winter), I get the occasional slip in slick conditions, but for the first 2 years, no slip at all.

I drive pretty aggressively, so it looks like it would definitely be time to replace them by the 2011 summer driving season. At about 8000-9000KM a year, that's 40,000-45000KM or so, or just about 30,000miles.

I would definitely buy them again.

I'll be the dissenting vote and say that every car that i've driven that had them on there (1992 Celica, 1993 Escort GT, 1995 Civic Si, 1994 Integra GSR, 1993 BMW 325i) completely underwhelmed me.

They get greasy as hell on the track, they don't warm up quickly enough to yield a good time at autocross.

The only things going for them are that they are cheap (you get what you pay for), quiet, and last an OK amount.

If you want a real performance tire on a budget, look towards the Hankook Ventus RS2/RS3, Falken RT615, Kumho XS (the XS is king right now).

For your average street-driving driver ONLY, the ZRI is an adequate tire.

I guess I'll chime in. I've been through two sets of Fuzion ZRis, and I have to say I've been pleased.

They're quiet, have great dry traction, adequate wet traction (I've never pushed it, but I can maintain a steady highway speed in a good rain without too much trouble), and the steering response is excellent. The treadwear is decent, though not as good as the Goodyears that were on the car when I bought it, and they are (as can be expected of summer tires) almost completely useless in even a small amount of snow, although with careful driving I've made it around just fine in the aftermath of two ice storms.

All in all, I don't think you could find a better street tire for the money.

I got a friend who uses Fuzion tires, but on his SUV. He has driven few miles with it. From what i've seen, the tires are pretty amazing. good for daily use. haven't seen an MX6 with these tires though.
