Wanted: 1993 mx6

I am wanting to buy a 1993 mx6 2.5l kL-de or kl-ze with 5 speed standered transmission for a project. Does anyone know where I can buy one cheap and close New Mexico?

Why 1993? Why not 94-97?

17" ROH Adrenaline Alloy Wheels, Superchip (for hi-octane +12hp), Stainless steel scuff plates, Powerfolding jdm mirrors, Mazda 6 MPS brakes (front + rear), 929 brake master (mx6 reservoir), JDM headlights, Altezza tail lights, Modified stock radio/cd with line-out +amp, Sound deadened doors + rear quarters << massive improvement

Actually the 1993 - 1994 had a distributor issue where the "Stator module" would gradually fail.
see here; ErgonITe - Probe/626/MX6 FAQ - Problem Areas

If the 1993/4 you buy won't start, this is the replacement part (in the distributor) that will get it going again.

The fix prior to just changing this part in the distributor was an external coil and external resistor, external stator... I did not wanted a work-around but a stock fix and started doing my www research. Two weeks later I had finally worked-out what was happening.

Replaced the part, cleaned the spark plugs, lots of blue smoke (from lots of un-burnt fuel)

Thankfully anyone with a 93/94 mx6 that won't start can benefit from finding this.

I have a 1994 with 240,000 miles on it. Only 1 original distributor during that time, car always started right away.
