Hybrid turbo's : Is there a real how to?

Hey guys,
Long story short, back in March I pulled a GTX out of the woods and am still in process of rebuilding... well, its all down the turbo now. I'm trying to make a VJ 11/14 (yes I know its been covered several times)... but I have a question.

Cold side is 11, hot side is 14... but what center section do I use?

Since both the 11 and the 14 are based off of RHB5, are they the same?

Richard

*** as a back story - Ive sent in 3 VJ14's to Majestic Turbo and each one has had a "worse the the one before" center section.

just use your original center section. and slap VJ11 compressor housing, and intake wheel. it will bolt right up.

pretty sure the center sections should be the same. if theres any differences, its gonna be small like a different thread pitch for the oil feed or something small. but i even doubt that

Unfortunately this is why I am here... I cannot find a good VJ14 (center section) for the life of me.

I would assume the center sections are the same as well, BUT without prior experience I'm a little timmid.

I've already tried to contact Sicksix6 about this, so hopefully he swings by soon

Any other info is appreciated

Richard

Sicksix6 hasn't been here for awhile. You might find him on ClubProtege trying to peddle his services without paying his dues as a vendor.

There's a few people still on here that are pretty well-versed in this stuff. I think Monoxidechild is right, though.

Just be patient, there's a couple people that i'm sure will chime in.

“One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that if you drive into London at 6am, half of the cars on the roads are Porsches and Astons. Whereas if you go in at ten to nine, they’re all Renaults. Simple solution, then. You want a nice car? Get up earlier and do more work.”
