    Hi there Fred wanting some advice from you as I've got a fe3 engine and wanting to do the rwd swap into my b2000 and wanting to know how to go distrubuterless I was thinking coil on plugs from a s15 but not sure on how to convert

    Hi. i my have a fe3 bottom end if you need it. Although im in Palmerston North. Also would like to let you know that there is a hardly touched fe3 in a capella wagon, (One of the 96-97 models). At the pickapart in lower hutt.

    hi ...i need some opinion...now i rebuilt my egine.i need suggestion what kind of piston better for fe3.i want put turbo.i think i want go with stock rod.what kind of piston should go.low compress piston.sugesstion please.

    Good morning fred,

    I recently bought a 626 with supposedly an FE3N engine but I'm in dire need of your knowledge just to be on the safe side with a couple of things. Is there a way I can message you in private???

    my engine is ford or mazda.code fe3n or fe3. now fe3 crank is crank stoke is 86mm.
    I want to put 2.2 crank into fe3. the code of 2.2 crank is f2.
    f2 rod is 158mm. fe3 is 150mm.
    f2 crank list of crank.
    rod lenght=6.220. or 158mm.
    rod big end bore=2.126'” or 54mm.
    crank journal=2.007” or 51mm.
    rod big end width= 1.055” or 26.81mm.
    wrirst pin=22mm.
    crank stroke=3.7” or 94mm.
    fe3 list of crank.
    rod length 5.906” or 150mm.
    rod big end bore=2.126” or 54mm.
    crank journal=2.007” or 51mm.
    rod big end width=1.055” or 26.81mm.
    wrist pin is 22mm.
    crank stroke =3.386” or 86mm.
    my questions is,can I use f2 crank to fe3 block.without have to convert.
    the different f2 and fe3 is the rod 158mm vs 150mm.=8mm
    crank stoke f2 and fe3 is 94mm vs 86mm.=8mm.
    different is 8mm.
    can I stroke from 2.0 to 2.2 crank without shave or anything.
    my plan is to make fe3 2.0 go to 2.3.
    with use h22 piston 88mm.
    rod fe3=150mm.
    crank f2=94mm.

    Hi, very interested in your knowledge.

    I have a F8-dohc.

    I am going to do the following mods

    FE5A cams.
    10.1 fe3 pistons

    Will the high comp pistons make much diff in the f8?
    Also will FE5A cams bolt straight in, and will I need to put fe3 ecu on it.

    Anything you recomend to get some power out of these f8-dohc. exhaust?
    I am going to turbo it some day, but just going N/A for the time being.

    Ive tried many other people but you are the only one who seems to no anything on these bulletproof motors.

    Hello, Reece from NZ (Matamata of all towns) here, i see that you have a huge knowledge for these fe3n engines and everyone i speak to, have nothing to offer me.     Oh yeah, and i boosted those flange dxf files from one of your fe3 threads. you must have a similar plasma table like i have.

    Hey whats up, me and N2Omatt have been following your threads for a while now. We did the flywheel mod for the F2t in the b2200 swap.. flywheel came out mint but there was some casting material inside the bellhousing that hand to come off....otherwise worked great ! ! Motor is dead now, think it cracked the head. but anyway im sticking a fe3 off in it this go round. There is a thread floating around here somewhere about a SR20 manny fitting the fe3??? is that true and does it work? And is there anything i should know during the swap so i dont have any surprises? Any help would be sweet!

    I need some help I spoke to Dutch about the wiring on the air mass meter and asked him about the wire coulours and on witch pins does the different coulours wires go ?
    And also I would like to know if it is possible to use a multimeter to test the wires to see if it is working , do you perhaps have a wiring diagram for just the air mass meter ?
    As Dutch said he will have a look and he never got back to me .
    Please I would love if you could help me
    P.S it is for the FE3 mazda

    can i trouble you for some help ?

    I have a mazda b ldv and i'm planning to implant a fe3 engine . on you pics i saw you remanufactured the sump..... was that nessecary to fit the engine. I have a 3.0lt v6 in the truck currently thanks Louis

    be and where the fuel placement should be placed as well. maybe take some pictures and send some diagrams with some explanations about them and why they are where they are?
    i know im asking alot but if im going to build this car i would like to build it right with some nice unique-ness like ITB's. and the reason im asking you is because you know your stuff about this engine obviously more than anyone else here and like you mentioned in the ITB thread about VE (volumetric efficiency) i have no idea about any of that stuff and i am seeking the man that knows best about this kind of stuff.
    if you can do this please let me know and you can send pics and such to my email and i can provide that for you if you wish for it, if you cannot or do not want to help me with this please let me know either way and i will understand

    i have been reading alot of your threads and following your builds involving the FE3 there is alot of useful info that you have posted. my user name on here is JLC and i am in the process of doing an fe3 swap into my 94 mazda rx7 and was searching through the bank of info and stumbled on your ITB thread http://www.mx6.com/forums/fe-dohc/185688-brand-new-1998-gsxr-750-throttles-rx7-550cc-injectors-fpr.html and posted in it but havent really got much more information about it. i searched for your build like lundgren420 suggested and it didn't say really anything about it in there. i was wondering if it were at all possible would you be able to figure up the best setup for a boosted FE3 with ITB's? like some pictures and specs of how large (wide and tall) the runners need to

    *i had to cut this into 2 messages it exceeded the max*
