Name - David

Age - 30 (& feeling like an elder in age amongst this fairly young group)

Reachable Phone # (Cell) - Will omit for now.

*Address - Not too far from Carkeek Park.

City and State - Seattle, Wa.

Car Driven - '89 MX-6 GT in a faded blue; in need of some serious upgrading to compete with most of y'a.

I'm a fairly mellow driver, so if I pass you, you must be going really slowly.

Name(First, Last) - Mark

Age - Oldest geezer here by a long shot... But young at heart.

Reachable Phone #: email or pm me works best.

City and State - Seattle near Greenlake

Car Driven - red '93 MX-6 V6, tan leather

Car is currently mostly stock, with a sparkly red paint job, big-ass stereo, and 17s. More to come when I get some time, including a ZE and all the related goodies...

I'm a web applications developer for a large healthcare company. Like many people here, I build computers (there are at least 13 in my house right now). I also cycle a lot, or did before a car accident resulted in a second ruptured disc in my spine.

Here's my car:

That's Terrible...

Yo Mark, that's messed up that you don't cycle as much nowadays because of your car accident. Were you in a car at the time or were you hit by a car while on your bike? I do a fair amount of cycling myself & pass by Green Lake almost every other day on my mountain bike.

well, I'm trying to get at least $2200 out of it. Dont know which head, although I should, I just had it off 2 months ago doing the gasket. Analog dash. Hatch doesn't leak. Passenger floorboard good, drivers getting some rust. Replaced brake lines with braided ones, except back right metel hose has slow leak(keep putting it off). And I suppose the wiper linkage is about 26 years old, I never had any issues with it. It needs a heater core.

hmmmmm.....

fyi, that wiper linkage will come apart at the most inopportune time...like during a rain storm...and you have to drive to the parts store and manually wipe your window at stop lights in downtown seattle, until you get that rain shield. then when you replace it, you'll forget about the C-clip remover tool you needed and you'll cuss and moan when you bend one out of shape. you'll bitch big time when you try and loosen/tighten the nut on the wiper motor because the shit is turned upside down, then you'll cuss and moan some more when the center cowl you removed scratches your hood, and you have to use a rubber mallet to pop the basterd back in. then you'll pop a cork when you realize that the fix you had for the c-clip you fucked up didn't work and the new linkage falls apart.

meh...i'm done with my rant about wiper linkage....carry on!
