Although the nice warm season is over, that doesn't mean I'm taking a break from the car. I'm doing a lot more studying as well as buying more parts.
So far I have purchased:
-ProSport Gauges electronic boost gauge
-Megan Racing down-pipe and mid-pipe
-CXRacing V-mount intercooler.
Don't worry, that's just dust on the clear vinyl protection
Yes, it's a Megan Racing, but I inspected the welds and test fitted them. Everything seems great.
The Restrictor Plate
is simply a 2.25" exhaust flange to create enough restriction in the exhaust flow to eliminate boost creep.
-Bar and Plate intercooler
-Core Size 15" x 10" x 3.25"
-2.5" Inlet & Outlet
-3.25" Thickness Core
What's going to be purchased over the winter:
-New KOYO aluminum radiator [check]
-2.75" polished aluminum piping and couplers for IC
-ProSport Gauges water temp. gauge [check]
-ProSport Gauges oil temp. gauge [check]
-ProSport Gauges oil pressure gauge [check]
-Innovate LS-1 Wideband
-GM 3-bar map sensor
-Apex'i Power FC with commander
-Apex'i AVC-R boost controller
With all this, I should be pushing near 300rwhp. If all goes well and business(detailing) keeps up and progresses, I should also be able to go single turbo. But that's an IF for now.
