Rx8 engine swap ...Diffcult ?

Hi there,
I am freshman here and also french.
I own a company specialized in car imports, based in France near germany.
I am specialised in MX5 and recently I fell in love with an mx6 V6, I decided to buy it and one or two others as spares.
I had in the past a Ford Probe but didn't really enjoyed the shape of it, only the V6.
I have also sold a few Rx8 as they are now affordable in EU.
I saw a few Rx8 with dead engines, or blown heads, or else. I am considering buying one of them very cheap with a broken engine and restaure it.
I just would like to know if it is very tricky to do so, do I need special tools, is a swap with another Rx8 engine is a hard job etc?
Thanks for your help
Oliver

You will have to fabricate a bunch of things, motor mounts and find a transmission to use which I imagine you will want to use the rx8 motor. Along with cutting and fabrication and wiring im sure it could be done but you have to understand that all rotary engines are rwd and mx6 are fwd so thats a problem in its own

I believe he is asking about simply replacing a blown engine in an RX-8 with a good one.

We recently have purchased an RX-8 as the shop race car where I work, and we're in the process of pulling the motor right now. If you have access to a lift, it seems the easiest way is to drop it out the bottom, along with the front subframe. There's a few local RX-8 people that claim it's a 1hr job after you know what you're doing. It doesn't seem to be a very difficult swap at all.

I can update once we have the motor out.
