Grin greetings from SC

Hi all, Tom here. Live in Columbia SC. 91 MX-6 LX, stock
Bought It in 91, been happy with it all along, other than the aggrivating things like the drivers side automatic seatbelt sticking, driver side power window, and most recently been running rough at 3000 rpm. can't find the problem yet. gotta figure it out. thanks all.

I usually hang out with my buddies from 3G but I don't drive a third generation eclipse so... Let me know whats goin on. P.S. I'm new to this site so it will take me a while to get used to it

Hi I'm Scott and fairly new to this board. I just moved to the Tampa / St. Petersburg area. I own an 88 MX-6. It's not the best looking thing on the road right now but I only payed 400 cash for it with only the altanator bad on it.

Right now I am getting an odd sounding tick / rattle at just above idle speeds on the right side of it <right after the oil change> I have looked around it abit but found nothing that looked loose. I thought it maybe a shield for the cat or something around there but I cant tell cause it only happens at just above idle RPM and I can not troddle it and look under it at the same time. I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas before I hauled it off to the repair shop to get charged 100 bucks to tighten a bolt. any advice would be great.

Thanks
Scott

hi lanette

cute name! perkypeanut, hee hee.

you suck, cause your two months older than me, hee hee.

i'm in sarasota myself, and i know theres a couple champagne mx-6's around here

head up to sarasota sometime, and i'll help ya find that dipstick and whatever else you might need done with your car
There should be a yellow dipstick towards the drivers side of the car, if its like a normal auto. sometimes its a little buried.
(sorry if i'm wrong, i'm a first gen 5-speeder )

Nice meeting you, and nice to have another lady on the boards

hey thanks....but it's a manual, that's why I can't find it. it's getting very frustrating!! I might just pop up to Sarasota some time, nice to know I have a car that stands out a little, because of the color. Plus there are a few, but not many girls really know how to drive an mx-6

sorry, i thought it was an auto, you didnt mention what it was

everything i've read when i did a search, says the fluid level has to be to the bottom of the fluid fill plug hole.
